If the weather was better we would have enjoyed the beach and heated pool. There was sand on our 4th floor porch which we tracked into the room. The view from our ocean room was very nice. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel and their exhaust fan operates 24hrs. a day, though it was not very loud the droning noise was ever present.

Nothing fancy but the rooms are nice, bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I liked that the property is right on the beach and less than a mile from downtown Privincetown so you can walk if you'd like. Only things i didn't give 5 stars on were that the fire ring in the courtyard (which is a very nice feature) kept going on and off (the wind may have had something to do with that). Also the beach would have been a bit nicer had they done a daily cleanup of all the seaweed that lines the beach. Overall a very pleasant stay and I will use this hotel when we return.

We were notified the room below us was getting water in the bathroom. Manager determined the water was coming from our shower - his solution was to ask us to take only brief showers. We paid for a room to stay in and do NOT agree that asking paying customers is a solution.

The hotel room could have been cleaner. The flood could have been mopped and the quilts on the bed needed to be washed. The TV had something splattered on it and needed to be wiped down. Overall though the front desk was extremely helpful if we needed anything.

Kind of dirty, housekeeping came before 9 every morning which to me is too early when you’re on vacation. Did not provide new sheets, also did not replace our toilet paper when we ran out!

This hotel is very old and overpriced, nearest restaurants or convenience stores are 15-20 min walk away. Horrible breakfasts, “destination fees”. The worst is the bathroom, they have sliding doors with huge gap, I was staying with friends and we had to use toilet in the lobby.

Great hotel. The staff were professional, room was good, love the heated pool and it’s an easy walk to the center of Provincetown. Even has it’s own private beach.

Very standard beachside hotel if a little run down. Staff was friendly enough, but nothing above and beyond. Price was high, but I think appropriate for the location and time of year.

At Surfside, we found a convenient & affordable (relatively speaking) to the Payomet Performance Center. We enjoyed the easy walk from the hotel to restaurants and shopping on Commercial Street. Hotel is a bit tired not surprising given its popularity. Liked the fire pit and breakfast.

Disappointed. But still beautiful!

We had a stunning waterfront view. But we’re not told that there was going to be construction right outside our room. — They have a no smoking policy… But all of the construction workers were smoking & it smelled. We had been there years ago. It went down hill with the new owners. Especially with the breakfast they provide. The view was still spectacular!
