We had a great stay. The place was beautiful with so much to see and do for adults and children. The hotel entertainment, restaurants, pools and photo centre were my most used facilities. Yaneirys, our concierge was the best! She checked in on us, ensured we had everything we needed, she was accessible by text and really made us feel at home during our stay. Highly recommend her to anyone staying there.

The structure is horrible it rained and so the whole time people were falling and hurting themselves because the rain came right through the roof and there were leaks and puddles everywhere

Overall we liked this property. The check in the the diamond club was lengthy and slightly chaotic however when we got to our room it was clean and fresh and our butler Delvis was great and went above and beyond. The only downside was the restaurants. We went to the steak house and it was busy. We waited an hour after our starter and realized no one was eating. We eventually left with no food and no apologies. The Italian restaurant we received cold pasta and it was pretty underwhelming. They were quite forceful at trying to sell us expensive wines from the menu. The main buffet was our go to and was excellent. Another small matter was that we had no hot water in our room for 3 days. We wouldn’t then utilize our diamond cloud upgrade of jacouzzi baths. And of course cold showers were not pleasant. To sum up , there were a few kinks along the way but more good than bad. It was a pleasant experience and I would consider coming back to the property . The staff were helpful

The rooms were damp and had a strong, unpleasant odor. The mosquito net was torn, and the air conditioning was very noisy—so loud, in fact, that it sounded like a truck was in the room, making it impossible to sleep with it on. The wardrobe was also broken. We were quite disappointed, especially since we had paid more than usual for a room with direct access to a swim-out pool. Additionally, despite staying for five nights, we were unable to book a reservation at the steakhouse. On a positive note, the staff were extremely friendly, which was a lovely touch. Additionally, the lazy river was disappointing. There weren't enough inflatables available, and half of the water jets weren't working, which made the experience very slow and less enjoyable.

Got moldy butter that was used from a previous guest. The top was crinkled and opened. Food was terrible. The language barrier was also a big thing. Explaining yourself in English didn’t make a difference on their understanding. Asking a question and getting an answer was difficult from most of the staff. Those who understand English did better. Overall I won’t go back to that one.

My girlfriend and I checked in on Friday, and shortly after entering our room, we went to check out the pool. Unfortunately, my girlfriend injured herself when she stepped on an unfinished area of the pool, resulting in a deep cut to the bottom of her foot. This injury left her unable to walk for the remainder of the trip. She was taken to the on-site nurse, who initially assessed the injury as superficial. However, once the blood was cleaned, it became apparent that the cut was much deeper than originally thought. There was also some confusion and disagreement among the staff regarding who would cover the medical expenses—the hotel or us—which added to the frustration of the situation. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the apparent indifference to the severity of the injury were concerning and disappointing.

I liked the lazy river with slides, the flow rider and the beach. I did not like the fact that on the beach the area around lounge chairs & umbrellas was not properly clean and there were food rests and plastic glasses in the sand. Also way too many beach vendors that they liked to congregate in one spot every day and they were sitting on tourists chairs and being loud. Another negative is that the bathroom was literally falling apart with cracked and dirty tiles. Couches were dirty and stained… and our room was a Presidential Suite. So definitely room furniture, tiles, molding needs major care.

Everyone was so hospitable. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out it was a very pleasant experience. The Concierge Estalin made sure we had everything we needed and kept consistently checking in on us to make sure everything was ok. Excellent service. Also Christopher and Oscar from the habachi restaurant were awesome! They made our dinner reservation a great experience. I will definitely be coming back here!

I recently visited the property and I must say the google reviews were on point.The property in terms of water features are great.The cleanliness of the rooms and smells are not great.I would never visit this property in the future.The Royalton brand is so much better than the experience I had at this resort.
