I typically always stay at this hotel when I’m in town because it’s usually a great deal and always clean and close to all the places I need to be, however, this last stay….Pulled back the shower curtain and there were dirty washcloths in the tub, the bed sank down like crazy and the blankets had stains. ☹️

Disappointing Experience With Unauthorized Charges

***Beware*** I recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham in Rapid City and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience regarding the checkout process. Initially, I was informed that there would be no additional charge for a later checkout, which I greatly appreciated. However, to my surprise, I discovered that my card was charged for this service after all. This lack of clear communication is frustrating and left me feeling misled. I expected better transparency from a hotel of your reputation. I hope this feedback helps improve your service for future guests. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel due to this experience.

The hotel is very dated. We had a king suite. 1 bedroom and another big empty room. Had small tv and couch. No coffee maker, not even a plastic glass for brushing your teeth. Breakfast there was no butter for waffles or any kind of gravy for biscuits. Very sad. Stay somewhere else.

Good breakfast, lots of parking space. It's interesting to not have housekeeping services unless requested - a change due to challenges in having staff available, I'm assuming. It was a very good hotel experience for us.

The front desk person was nice and appeared competent, she was often away from the front desk and some of her attire was not business appropriate, in my opinion. I was very disappointed with the room. The lampshades had holes and tape was used to hold the batteries in the remote. I did not use the ice machine because the pan under it was filthy with some sort of sediment. I wish I was able to submit photos. I don’t feel I am a picky person. A remote with a back and in tact lamp shades is not a lot to ask when paying the rate I paid.
