They have done a great job cleaning up the old Sands into this new J Resort. I stay here often and will again but this stay the bathroom was dirty and no soap. The housekeeper dropped the ball this day!

Vincent at the front desk was awesome, we had issues with our booking from expedia and he did everything he could to help us out. We came down to help my father with one last trip to Reno, as he has stage 4 cancer. He and my mother stopped by to see what the old Sands resort looks like now and they where impressed. We had dinner at Hannas and we were very disappointed in the young waitress as she chastised my father about his thoughts on the potatoe soup. Fortunately the young man that brought the food out went above and beyond his duties after hearing how she spoke to him, that was much appreciated by our whole family (6 of us). I dont know names and I do t wish to get anyone in trouble. Thanks J Resort, Scott and Cindy from Castle Rock Washington

Exceptionally clean and spacious. Odd that there is no grand entrance and that the hotel registration desk seems like an afterthought. Parking is limited and Valet isn't even offered as an option. Dragging your suitcase through a casino is a HUGE turnoff for guests who expects more. The J has so much potential, but sadly misses the mark in so many areas.

The hotel was great but not a big fan of “resort fees” and they lost my check-in information from the hotels.com system. They found it but it till over 20 minutes of waiting while I watched an unending line of other folks checking in.

I loved our room!! It was very modern and clean. I especially loved the lighting in the bathroom as I was getting ready. There was plenty of parking just steps away from the entrance. I would definitely stay here again.
