I really liked this for our New York trip. Very good connectivity to the Manhattan and all important areas to be explored. The property was decent with all essential amenities. I wish they had lockers in the room. But definitely worth the money. Room service was also excellent.

It wasn't a horrible stay but a bunch of little issues just added up to it not being good. Check in was not great. There was no tv remote control, had to ask for one. Only 2 towels, no wash clothes in the room. The tub stopper did not work to give my son a bath. I would probably not pick this hotel again if in the area.

August 2024 stay

I came for a quick trip to see two Mets games. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel as well as its amenities. However, I was disappointed that the check-in desk prioritized dogs in a reservation prior to ours. It's fine to ask questions about the dogs, give them treats, etc. -- who wouldn't?? -- but the clerk kept telling us variations of how he had to see the dogs and it would just be a few more minutes while he asked questions unrelated to the stay of the owners. We were not the only ones "in line" to check in due to the duration of the process.

Location is close to airport 25min max, Staff went above and beyond during our stay. Front desk (Hector) I believe that was his name was very helpful from checking us in and giving us the best tips as transportation from Hotel to Time Square. Highly recommend, the highlight of our stay was definitely was Staff. Only one thing I would recommend was having FREE Breakfast.

Rooms so-so

The first room I got was smelly and bathroom was dirty then they changed my room. I would have been upset if my room was not changed. The beds are ok. Sheets and towels are clean. The hotel is a little dated, jacuzzi not working. Convenient to go to Downtown New York by bus.

Standard Hotel

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s your standard 3-4 star hotel. Their “gym” is really only three cardio machines and dumbbells. No workout bench though. Pillows in the room were petty bad and they don’t really give you many towels.

Stated there several times. This time was not acceptable. Will hesitate to stay again. The room was stale and musty. While the bathroom appeared clean, the rest of the room was moldy smelling and hard to breath in. The front desk staff nice. Sent some room freshener to spray. Did not help much. Carpet not clean. A/c unit old.
