Very quaint motel. The rooms are large and very clean. The gentleman running the place was so nice and accommodating. There was several options close by for food... All over a very nice experience

Though the room needed to be updated it was surprisingly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The motel was close to the interstate but was not a noise issue. The price was right and would definitely stay again. I would recommend additional locks on the doors

Although I was told by a State Trooper that this location had a bad reputation I found it comfortable and quiet. The staff seemed ambivalent and they weren't even around when I went to check out. The room was ckean and teh bed comfortable. The shower pressure was good and it was quiet all night. I would recommend this for future stays with the hope that they would work to improve their reputation with local authorities.

Warning!

Strong smell of sewer gas! We ran water in all drains in case the drain traps were dry - but it did not help. Owner moved us to another room but it had tha same smell. Wife was feeling sick. Owner tried to move us again, but by this time we had enough of their lies. We left and got a room in a nearby town. The owner would not give us a refund - even though we did not stay the night.

The staff was definitely not friendly the room was very dingy and out dated and smelled horrible. The bed was very old and stiff even the tv didn’t work properly

I use to stay here a couple times a year. Its been a few years I've been here. Definitely the condition of the property is getting worse. Use to be really clean but this stay was unsettling. There were shoe prints all over the floor. The sheets had stains on them. Found a spider in the bed. There was 3 feather pillows on the bed. 2 of them were yellow. Was in a none smoking room 20 but there were yellow cigarette stains all over the counter of the sink. Bathroom in desperate state of maintenance. Bathtub chipping. Bathroom door needs painting. Bathroom mat was dirty. Towels stained. Bed was comfy. Unfortunate to say but i went be staying here anymore.

Fishing Trip

We stayed here with our grandson while Trout fishing at Meramec Springs. Our room was clean, comfortable & quiet. The only issue we had was the shower head in our room was not good. I would spray water many directions, and the pressure was not strong enough to wash/rinse hair. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean. The shower faucet had a constant drip which was a bit annoying at night. The hotel is also right next to Interstate 44 so semi are jake braking throughout the night. There can be a bit of an unsavory crowd lurking around after dark. Be sure your vehicle is locked up.

Received what I was expecting for this price point. It is an older property that isn't completely awful inside. It is near a highway, so you get some road noise. Not a big mega name property but you're not paying a big price.

There were no bugs and it was a bed for the night out of the elements. The interstate is very noisy. The linens were stained. I did not use the shower because it appeared unclean, old, chipped and needed new calking. This motel is very outdated and in need of a great deal of TLC. Even some fresh paint would help. Is there no standard of pride in owning a decent property anymore or am I old fashioned?

The building was old and smelly!! The bed was hard. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. The picture on their website is NOT what you actually get!! Sketchy place! Metal plates around the bed.

Very budget friendly - spend more if you can!

While this was a very budget friendly stay it was at the same time disgusting. There was no toilet paper to start with, hair in the bathtub, the sink was rusted out and by that time the single sheet was my only protection from the likely infested bed cover. I will say, checking was great and the attendant was super friendly. They responded to my To request ASAP during a late night checkout. I was happy to find a place during the eclipse, but, if you got spare change ... Stay elsewhere!!!
