The staff was polite and attentive. They were accommodating and friendly. Very convenient location to beach and restaurants, markets etc. Regarding our stay, there is room for improvement. The bathroom shower curtain smelled like mildew. We could hear every little noise from the room next door; they should remove door and make it a solid wall, the door is shut and not meant for connecting rooms. It would be nice to have a bedside table on both sides, not just one. Lastly, the frame above the bed needs to be moved higher because we kept bumping our head.

Great little motel

Lovely homey place to stay, very friendly service, cool little motel, would stay again. Grocery store very close by, walked to pier and restaurant strip, lovely community. Despite being close to highway, never heard highway noise. Recommended.

Easy access to restaurants, grocery store and the beach. Beds were comfy. Overall very quaint but noisy. Neighbors had a barking dog and talked very loud outside of our door during quiet hours. Extremely limited parking. Limited outlets. Most furnishings were quite old. The door looked as if it had been forced open previously.

This little motel is a classic SoCal coastal family owned spot. It has a quaint feel to it, but not an outdated feel. Jenny and Kate were super helpful and friendly, and they both went above and beyond to ensure that our check in went smoothly. The only thing to be aware of is that the mattresses are on the firm side. It’s not a knock on them, because that’s my preference, but it may not be the good for others.

Thinnest walls

This place would have been great if it wasn’t for the thinnest walls I literally have ever encountered. I could actually tell the guest in the room next to mine had haptic-feedback turned on in his phone because I could hear him texting. It then became awkward knowing that they could hear EVERY single noise from my room. Perhaps it was just our two rooms because they had a connecting door, but it’s a shame since this place was terrific otherwise.
