We really enjoyed our previous stay so decided to stay again. However, there were loud children running and screaming around our room, and also taking up the adult hot tub. We notified the hotel staff about the loudness after hours on our first night and the hotel promptly called their room. However, during early morning, the loudness and running resumed, but we were not sure which room they stayed at. The game room is a nice amenity, but if it’s taken up by kids, it’s not very adult friendly. The previous time we stayed, the restaurant (Riviera) was very good, but we didn’t try it this time. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but in general, the screaming kids detracted from the entire experience.

It has a very nice mid century feel. I liked the restaurant and bar their food was great! I loved my room but I had to leave it because the beds were all hard as a rock… they happily refunded me. I’m waiting for their new beds to go back! I really liked the property…

Fantastic boutique style hotel! Loved everything about it! Public beach (paid parking $7.50/hr) only 5mins (in car) or 15mins (walk) behind the hotel. Will stay here again in a heartbeat if visiting San Clemente or the San Diego area (50 mins from San Diego downtown).

Getting to our room was a shock with the smell of bleach! I immediately turned on the only wall unit air conditioner fan and opened the slider. The smell immediately irritated my throat and I coughed for hours until my throat gradually felt better. Don’t understand why bleach would be used and I now wish I would have reported it. The room itself was nice with full kitchen appliances with dishes and pans. We were only there one day so didn’t really use those but they were available. The only drinking water was in a vending machine off the lobby. No bottled water in room as a courtesy or for purchase. Upon checking out I was told there was a $25 parking fee but I didn’t have a car! It will be reversed but I had to insist on getting a receipt. Not sure if I will return.

We stayed 2 nights, and it was just perfect for what we needed. We are a family of 3 so we stayed in a room that had a separate bedroom, and 2 murphy beds in the living room area. It had a kitchenette and dining area. Everything was clean, plenty of fresh towels, bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Hot tub and pool were nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ll be back.
I absolutely loved my stay! I will be back in the Spring with my family. Only thing is was disappointed in was the gym. The equipment is very outdated BUT they have free weights in there that can get the job done as well.

A lot of activities like Billiards, Tennis, Ping-Pong, Mini-Golf, Shuffle-Board, Foosball, Air-Hockey & more! Usually, it’s a just a little Gym & Pool/Jacuzzi for a 3-Star Hotel. Rooms are a good 3-star quality with full kitchens & lots of towels. Parking is a rip-off & should be included with the hotel price. We’re not parking in New York City or LA! No Oceanview, but a beautiful forestry view, but beware, coyotes live in there. Overall, I’d say like an (A-) or (B ) and costs like $140 $25 parking as a regular rate.

Nice staff!
The front desk concierge was very nice and helpful. He answered all my questions and greeted me as I entered the lobby. We drove all the way from Texas I asked could we check in early. He informed me they had some room ready and allowed us to check in. I appreciate him so much we drove a very long way.
