The property was in a great location with easy in and out parking. No fuss check-in. The overall stay was quiet, clean and what we wanted. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in at a hotel. Cons: The internet was very lacking, especially on our weekend nights. You could hardly stream or look up anything. We spent extra money for a corner suite to find the bathroom very outdated and the water pressure low for the shower. Overall, pleasant stay.

My biggest problem with this hotel was the pillows, They were about 6" thick and very firm, very uncomfortable. Our shower also had VERY low water pressure and only half of the TV channels had sound, very annoying. BUT, It was very clean and the staff was very helpful, friendly and tried to help with with what they could.

Noisiest motel/hotel room I have ever stayed in ( out of hundreds). Noises from above and adjacent. Likely No sound barrier/insulation in walls or floors. Hard flooring instead of carpet on upper levels. Had to hear every word of neighbors late night conversation into the small hours. Tub draining slowly.

It was just a quick get away for us. The room was nice and the bed comfy. Also loved how the rooms faced the water complete with balcony. We would definitely stay here again. One negative is the floor and balcony sunk in when you stepped in certain spots which is a bit unnerving. Other than that it was great.

I love taking my elderly mom to Morro Bay. This place is perfect for her with an elevator and almost everything in walking distance. The parking is convenient and there is always a spot to park.

We love staying at the Embarcadero Inn while visiting Morro Bay! The rooms have great balcony views , it's located in nice location for walking to shops and restaurants and the rooms are always clean !

Why not a perfect score as I would have liked to? 1. I specifically asked in person about the TV in the rooms when inquiring about booking our stay there for the next two nights. Gentleman answered my question, barely (he barely spoke - not best job for him if not going to be communicative) but didn't say a word about more than half the channels on the TVs were audio, not pictured due to lack of service issue especially when I said that my daughter needs to be able to see the TV. We ended up staying (under false pretenses) and later that evening I asked the same gentleman why most channels were audio not pictured. It would have been nice to know upfront when I asked about the tvs as my special needs daughter was recovering from surgery and we decided to cheer her up with a getaway for a few days to MB. She loves staying in hotels and enjoys tv time as well. I expected her to have quite a bit of tv time during our two night stay and ended up spending more time in room due to fog and cold that she is sensitive to. Very difficult to watch tv with no programs she enjoys as all her channels she liked were not working due to service issue. Luckily I had my laptop with me for her to watch programs on but not the same as tv. 2. Even with the sliding door open and fan going the room was still hot and stuffy most of the night which made for not the greatest sleep. Excellent location and most staff friendly which is always a plus and makes us want to return but we shall see. .
