There was very little variety for breakfast, and the customer service was very poor. We experienced a rude worker, and also saw her being rude to other guests.

Property was clean and very spacious. Only gripe was the remote for the TV would not work properly and was very difficult to operate the TV due to input delays.

Well Preserved Gem

Travelodge Santa Maria is a well preserved and nicely updated older hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was all helpful and friendly. Room was updated, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast choices were limited but good.

Breakfast staffing needs complete overhaul. There needs to be a staff member in the dining room present for all hours of breakfast. Unacceptable to request the reluctant reception desk staff to replenish breakfast items and then walk out again to repeat the problem.

Very clean, and very good staff. The breakfast is not that great, but there is free breakfast. The pool is very nice. My room was super clean and it had all the amenities one could ask for: refrigerator, microwave, safe, ironing board, hairdryer… And plenty of clean towels.
