There was a beer bottle under the table in the outside patio area. Not a big deal but should have been thrown out. Room was clean, towels in shower a little thin, almost a hole in one. But again, very clean and great price. Love Sideways Inn! Also, lots of workers trucks in parking spots but oh well.

Everybody was great and the rooms were clean. The only issue is whenever somebody walks by on the second floor the building shakes a little which startled us a few times. But we would easily stay here again.

No breakfast room instead we get breakfast delivered which sounds good but actually not convenient since you need to order items online which is not clear at all for explaining what you can order or can’t order or how much you can order.

Fine place, expensive for a 3 star place. Lack of storage in rooms, no dressers, no counter in bathroom, etc. “Queen” beds seemed more like full beds, refrigerator was too cold and froze everything. On site food truck required ordering in the lounge which is 21 so not family friendly, no way to order food with kids. We went to the Lounge to order and were ignored for 10 minutes despite not being busy so we left. Pool was nice, knock and drop breakfast although mediocre, was convenient

Great place to stay! Food over the restaurant outstanding nice place to have some drinks! The staff so helpful. The only bad thing our room was close to the laundry room strong smell to gas and obviously super hot!

Surprised how clean and welcoming this hotel. Spacious room , very clean and no any kind of smell. Convenient location if you need to go to Solvang or Chumash casino, Easy parking . Friendly staff. I forgot to order night before the breakfast for the next morning and they are gave my breakfast to go . Very nice 👍

Due to mobility issues, we booked an ADA room. We were very impressed with the accommodations. The no step shower and shower chair were exactly what we needed. The sliding barn door was also very thoughtful. The fire pit and pool were very peaceful and the AC was much appreciated! We stayed on the highway side and in the night road traffic could be heard, but the ovean waves from the sound machine helped to cover up most of the night sounds. I would definitely stay here again, but it is kind of far from Malibu and LA activities. Perfect for a relaxing night before the rat race!!

It is a nice property for a quick stay, no frills with many people hanging out at the bar. A few altercations were noticed and their EV charging was not working, which was one of the reasons we chose the place. The breakfast was minimal, but great to hit the road. The bar was nice and the bar food was good.
