Really loved this house

We loved this house. Cute and comfortable. Clean in the important areas but definitely could have used a deep cleaning. Had extra blankets, which we appreciated. We loved the location and that it was in the woods. Close to everything but far enough away to not be disturbed. Just an fyi, the fort is no longer in working condition. That was disappointing but we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Getaway!

Our family had a great experience while at the cabin. The space was clean and in a great location. The kids enjoyed the games and the woods surrounding the cabin. We loved the cozy porch swing! Our only issue was with the play set that was part of the online listing. One of our reasons for choosing this cabin was the pictures of the outdoor platforms for the kids. When we arrived they were not as in good of shape as the pictures showed and there was a large pile of rusty nails/screws under a layer of leaves. No one was hurt and overall the kids thoroughly enjoyed running around the woods and exploring. We visited several of the nearby walking trails and drove through Helen. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Family Getaway!

My husband an 3 children (6, 5, & 2 years old) spent the weekend here. The moment we pulled up to the cabin our kids did not stop smiling until it was time to leave for home. Super family friendly! We had brought board games to play but they had a chest already with games and toys for the kids. The firepit was perfect for roasting marshmallow and hotdogs! (Just be sure to bring firewood.) We will definitely rent this cabin again in the future!

Very nice

Cabin was extremely nice everything about it was nice only thing we did run out of toilet paper in downstairs bathroom. But not a big deal enough of towels for us all to use it was very nice and quite. Built a fire outside in pit very relaxing. Forgot to leave a note in the Journal.

It was nice. Wonderful amenities outside. The inside was OK. The place can use some new mattresses. The upstairs bathroom super, super small. Great for grilling but none of the knife cut anything. Great coffee pot. Over all it was cozy.

Perfect Cozy Getaway

What a cozy little getaway. You can see how adorable the house is as soon as you turn into the driveway. The porch is very inviting and I made it a point to enjoy every sitting area! The cabin was perfect size for my family of 3 and additional children would have been fine but I wouldn’t have wanted to share with any additional adults. This house was incredibly clean! Honestly didn’t see one but the entire time, I did or on the porch. In the middle of the woods that’s hard to accomplish. It was nice that they have such a large collection of towels. I’ve never rented a house with more towels now that I think of it. The toys in the loft were a nice surprise for my daughter. We played with Lincoln Logs for hours! Make sure you bring your own coffee. We cooked every meal in the kitchen for 3 days and the kitchen had everything I needed.

A perfect little gem tucked away in the woods right around the corner from the little town of Helen.

We had a GREAT experience. The location was perfect. We loved it so much! The only suggestion I have it to maybe put a mat in the main bathroom shower to help prevent falls. It’s super slick in that shower!

Super cute cabin...

Super cute cabin, identical to the online pictures. Check in: the lock box is a little tricky to find. A little bit more specific instructions would of been helpful, but, no biggie we located it. The place does have a tv, didn’t use it but it came with movies and games too which were a nice touch. WiFi worked pretty good. Hot tub was great! Don’t go expecting to do your laundry. We were there a total of 2 nights, but, what bugs me is the amount we paid to no have a working washing machine. Let me clarify, it worked but left 4-5 inches of water in the basin, no luck draining. After attempting 3 times of a full cycle to wash (on 1 load mind you) I gave up and rang out all of the clothes as best as I could, then put them in the dryer, took about 3 hrs to completely dry. Normally no big deal, however, the washer and dryer are located in the master bedroom and I unfortunately made the mistake of doing my 1 load around 9pm.. the noise made for a fun night trying to rest and keep checking if the clothes were actually dry. Emailed the company twice to no response. Not that I was expecting them to come out that late at all, but, would of appreciated some kind of response. Overall, it was a good trip and a cute cabin.

We stayed at the cosy bear 6 adults 5 children and it was perfect we stayed at Christmas!

We had a fun time family Christmas,it was an experience we all want forget! 2 of us fell down the stairs, 1 fell on the ice, 1 got trapped in the bathroom with a mouse lol, 1 cut her finger, 1 burned his finger and 1 passed out in the bathroom lol! The kids loved the Snow! We had a Blast and the cabin was Awesome!

Cozy mountain cabin

The cabin was great for our family. We have 3 boys, 2 teens and a 6 year old and they all fit upstairs great! The tree fort in the woods was awesome and they really enjoyed that too. It was close to all the places we planned to go. If you rely on having cell service, you won’t have it here, but the WiFi worked great! I’m a realtor so it was nice to not have my phone ringing all weekend! Definitely would stay here again. The pictures and walkthrough video are very accurate as to what you’ll find when you get there. Thanks for the great weekend!

Beautiful cabin and location! The porch and fire pit make this house unique. Downstairs bathroom and hot tub cover are gross. Not the cleanest cabin but manager did respond to our issues with dirty sheets and coffee pot.

Solitude and an awesome cabin.

I’d buy this house in a minute. The property is just chock full of custom woodworking. The railing cross members are all branches put together, and a lot of railings. The porches are just AWESOME. We’ve looked for a mountain home for a while and have never found one that was just right and this is it. Love the place.
