When we checked in we were told the pool was closed for renovation and the pool was the main reason for booking this hotel. I can understand in the offseason, but this was Labor Day weekend. The continental breakfast was a sorry excuse for breakfast. Green bananas and frozen sausage biscuits are not my idea of even a continental breakfast.

Lacking in so many ways

Hotel is in need of maintenance. Carpets are severely stained and have an odortism in the hallways. This had nothing to do with the hurricane that came through just a total lack of maintenance. The pool was not in service nor was the fitness area. I looked in the fitness area and it just looked like the equipment was unplugged. For some reason, the bathroom floor was sticky and there was a dead roach on the floor and I was glad I was only staying for1 night. I will say both the girls at the front desk were very professional and nice both when checking in and checking out. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

I booked online a room with a whirlpool tub however, when I arrived, I was told I only booked a normal king suite because the picture was incorrect online and even though they have this problem all the time with third parties using the wrong pictures and false advertising, they still have not done anything about it. They were not able to upgrade me to another room because one was not available. The pool did not work. The gym was closed. I could not use the back door to get in which was closer to my room because it was broken workers who were staying here were very loud and unpleasant and the continental breakfast was definitely not anything to write home about , I’m very upset. As for the amount that I paid for this room I could have gone somewhere else and at least been able to take advantage of some amenities since the whirlpool tub room was unavailable. As a single mom, I worked hard to be able to get away even for just one night, so I’m highly disappointed that it did not go how it was supposed to

Pictures on Expedia lie! Days inn rooms quality! Outdated and carpet smells old when you walk in, lights don’t half work, bed was really old and does sleep uncomfortably. Bathroom was clean but sink and tub fixtures were loose. Very gloomy feeling walking down the hallway and in the room. We booked for a quick getaway for me and my husband, but because of these conditions we should have just driven on to our destination, because it wasn’t worth stopping! Staff was ok but didn’t seemed concerned with our problem as if she was used to the mess!

HORRIBLE! I have never wrote a review prior to this and it makes me want to praise the hotels I have stayed in because of my horrible stay here. Booked for me and my family, a random strange man stayed in the lobby for hours. The drain was clogged in the bathtub, room smelled like mold, and the AC was not working the best. The worst part is that from 1am until 9:30am, two doors down from us played bass/loud music and the front desk lady did not care about my family having to travel 12 hours straight today after getting no sleep. The place had an “off vibe” very uncomfortable! Offered a refund if I sat and contacted Expedia back and forth and was not very straight forward. Never again and I used to be a Pooler local.

Dirty. Pool wasn’t open. Has been closed for a year. House keeping turns off the air conditioning so the rooms like furnaces. The staff was really nice.

The entire building needs remodeling. The pool and gym were not available at all . And there was a water bug in the room on the wall. When we arrived there was hair on the floor of the bathroom and on the bed. Stains were on the chair and carpet the tub wouldn’t drain properly, I was not pleased

No issues with hotel itself but area was sketchy

Room was clean, front desk was good, AC worked well, smell of weed all over. LOTS of people randomly walking around outside, drinking/hanging out/lounging in chairs in adjoining parking lots. I know nothing about Pooler, GA but would certainly look for a place where I felt a bit safer for my family than what I saw walking/hanging around the parking areas. Everything felt a bit sketchy.
