Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Kevin Serralta the assistant manager went above and beyond. The location of the hotel is amazing, perfectly close to city centre and Nordstrom for shopping, walkable to the pier and pike place market, space needle too. The Polar Bar in the hotel serves some amazing cocktails. During the day, Starbucks coffee and cold lemon water is always available in the hotel lobby during morning hours. Breakfast was nice but many walkable options near the hotel. Would definitely recommend to stay here with perfect proximity to the downtown as well as easy going wind down evenings.

They rented out the check in area/bar for a wedding (half of it) but wedding guests over flowed and pushed hotel guests out. Homeless people milled about in front of link entrance. Only cleaned room after we left (trash piled up). Tried asking for money for the mini fridge because there is alcohol in it. I don't drink. First hotel I have ever been charged to use a mini fridge. I used nothing in the room but what was listed that came with the room. They were not upfront with fees.

We loved this hotel. Super clean. Bed was excellent. Staff amazing. Our only concern was rhe area in which it is located. A bit sketchy with lots of homeless. That being said, we walked during the day and had no issues. Would go back!

Again a hotel not telling us if they were going to tidy or room and bring fresh towels. Why why why can’t they communicate this? They really hype the bar/restaurant online but we couldn’t use it because it was closed for a wedding reception or something. And then closed Sunday. Fun to stay once but we won’t be back.

My Observation!
Just my observation: First contact is the reception desk. Lovely and sets the atmosphere for the property. Great! Second is the elevator to guest room: The elevator interior needs to be refreshed. Floors dirty and edges not vacuumed properly. A notice was glued to wallpaper, removed but strips of paper still remain. Shows lack of attention or detail to job. Wood trim damaged by suitcases or trolleys. Unavoidable but perhaps restored and protected. This is just my observation but got the same feeling you get when your airplane food tray is dirty. What else are they not doing? Our room was very clean and well appointed. Thank you. We enjoyed our stay and love your hotel. Would recommend it to others. Oh, all employees were very hospitable and professional.

Get transported back to the Arctic Club Gold Rush Fraternity in the 1900s. Excellent vintage vibes, perfect location - walkable to pike's place market and the pier. The only caution is that you need to plan for parking - there isn't any available for reasonable prices nearby (valet is $65 per day).

It was great to learn about the hotel history and how they try to incorporate the theme overall. The walrus and polar bears are very cute. The bar are was very fun and the service was great, along with the drinks they had to offer. The continental breakfast was delicious with many options to pick from. The valet service guy were the kindest, with offering options in case you didn't want to do valet they gave us info first about the parking information. They are really great staff members to the hotel. We ended up using valet because it felt safer.
