Really Unique Place
This cabin is very different from anything I have rented before. It is very artistic and fun. The wood from the original settlers cabin still show in spots and the add ons and upgrades to the property are smartly done and very classy. So many antique furniture pieces and great attention to details on everything from bedding to cute dishes and artistic wall painting and decorative elements throughout the house. The air conditioners provided kept it cool and the laundry facility was very nice to have. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom and shower are very nice with great water pressure. The area the cabin is situated in is a desert type climate but it has beautiful views of the mountains out the front window. We really enjoyed our stay here and would have enjoyed staying a bit longer. We had dogs and they liked being able to walk freely in the fenced yard. We enjoyed exploring places like the dinosaur tracks, devils kitchen, and the town of Greybull. There are also nice chairs and a swing on the front porch for enjoying evenings/sunset. The property is managed by a third party so you don’t talk to the owner but it went smoothly with no issues. If in the area exploring that side of the bighorn it’s a fun and unique place to stay with all the comforts you need with some nice classy vibes as well.

This was such a beautiful and fun place to stay at. Everything about this cabin and the amenities was perfect. Our kids loved the games, logs, and the pure beauty of the outdoors. So many memories made here that we will hold onto forever. The communication between the caretaker was top notch. Also everything and more was readily available for all of us. We can’t wait to come back and are so happy we found this true gem! Thanks again mora mora!!!

Autumn tour
We had a wonderful time in the Big Horns. It was great to come home to the house for our supper meal and some reading, relaxing, & enjoying the peace & quiet. The kitchen was stocked very well, the beds were great. We had a bit of a problem finding the right road to get to the home at first but we figured it out. It might be helpful if there was a flag or something to identify the road to turn at. Just a thought but certainly nothing that was a big deal!! All in all it was a wonderful home base!!

Wonderful stay!
Quiet, nice place to get out and walk, too. Beautiful view. Close to Shell and Shell Canyon for getting up into the mountains. Kitchen was well-equipped, even with little things like spices and sugar. We enjoy quiet places that are tucked away, and this suited us perfectly!

"Storyland Cabin"
This remote property was comfortable and worked out for our family. The cabin was stocked with great linens, dishes and laundry area. The view is amazing and sunsets were beautiful. Internet was great. It was a super hot week and we were comfortable with the provided AC units and fans. Cabin has great artwork and loved the artistic touches and birds. We were visiting family 20 minutes away. I grew up on the opposite side of the BigHorns, so we had many days enjoying this side. Yellowstone, Cody and Beartooth canyon were nearby day trips. Amazing views and loved seeing wildlife. The dogs loved the walks in the country and in the mountains.

Stunning views!
I am fortunate or unfortunate however you want look at to rent 8 to 9 homes a year for work and travel. This particular rental was a true gem. Owning a farm myself, I really enjoy the Agricultural feel of the area and Shell valley is a wonderful mosaic of color and natural landscapes. I noticed one review mentioning the remoteness which would be in the eye of the beholder. There were many farm houses and homes in the area. It’s not an urban hub but that’s why it is such a lovely cabin. Thanks again to the wonderful hosts.

Stayed here for a Friday/Saturday night. Was just what we needed. Quiet, beautiful view of the Big Horn Mountains. Cabin was very well put together and everything was thought about. Only issues was the oven did work and we were unable to bake our cinnamon rolls.

rustic cabin
Had problems with blowing a breaker everytime too much stuff is plugged in. It was 100 degrees outside and the air conditioning did not keep up and the refridgerator would not cool below 40 degrees. Otherwise the cabin was quaint and the beds very comfortable. Great to have the space to let the kids run off energy. All in all it was a good vacation and the scenery was beautiful.

Exactly as described
A great place to sleep while exploring the region. The house is small - but so well equipped and designed. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into both the aesthetic design of the house as well as the practical amenities. It's a tiny but well stocked kitchen with everything you would need - loved the industrial fridge/counter and the gas stove. The bathroom was well stocked with nice water pressure. The sheets were clean and good quality with plenty of extra bedding if needed. We did yoga on the front covered porch in the mornings and enjoyed the hanging swing. But you can't use the yard for much else (think sage, thorns, and pokey dead grass). Fine for our dog to wander around but the kids couldn't play in the yard. The stars were beautiful at night. Big Horn National Forest was pretty close - we loved the swimming holes and exploration of Shell Falls and the drive through the canyon to Sheridan. We were there over 4th of July and enjoyed the fireworks in Greybull. The two things that would really improve the experience would be to add an additional half-bath with a toilet/sink. One bathroom for the whole group was tricky at times. And better internet - it was spotty, kept going out, and weak when it was working. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

Breathtaking Views!
Great location! Beautiful views, very quiet and peaceful. Everything was super clean and adorable! My family had a great time. The ONLY thing that was upsetting was two times without notice a family member of the property owner randomly shows up to water the trees and has access to the laundry room and is in and out of the backyard. I don’t really have an issue except I don’t really know if they are a family member and it’s uneasy feeling because you are in the middle of nowhere. No one explained to us that someone may randomly stop by unannounced. Also! The day before our departure, the same family member thought we were leaving and I had to go show my email receipt that she wasn’t correct which also is a very awkward and uncomfortable feeling. I NEVER give bad reviews. It’s just something I think you should be a little more organized with and keeping your visitors informed.

W love the location of this place, perfect for seeing the big horn area. This place is very thoughtfully / artistically arranged interiorly, w uncluttered and spacious living room and master bedroom. it is great for a couple's getaway. we did not use the guest room, which is heated through a space heater. there were minor kinks w the floor radiant heating and wifi, but Katy was very prompt w responses and really tried to solve our concerns. We greatly appreciate this experience, and if possible would love to visit again. Thank you Katy and Terry for making our vacation as good as it can be.
