Nice spot!

The room was really great, and the owners were quick to answer any questions. The check in and check out were frustrating. The staff seemed to be clueless as to how to even check us in, or out given the different levels and types of room ownership. Had I known booking through Snowshoe properties included more amenities versus VRBO, I would have gone that route. VRBO's fees are absolutely ridiculous.

Great Location and unit

We had a great time utilizing this unit. Alleghany Springs provided the convenience and ease to the slopes we were looking for. The unit was as advertised and was well equipped for our needs. It was nice able to use a toaster and make a pot of coffee each morning. The only area of improvement I could recommend would be to upgrade the mattresses. They were as comfortable as I'd hope, but this wouldnt hesitate me from booking this unit in the future.

Quick Christmas Gift

This doesn't have anything to do with the property but I was just overall very confused with the Snowshoe layout when we first arrived. If it's your first time, just do your research ahead of time. There were 2 entrances to get into snowshoe, we didn't know which one to go in. The tubing we scheduled for the first night is a short drive away. There are so many properties up there we weren't sure where to go at first. That being said, once we got to our property, checked-in, unloaded the car, walked around the Village, it was GORGEOUS! We loved it. Everything was perfect. The location is amazing (cell service is nonexistent btw but I eventually got full bars in the Village). I must have misread the property description, I thought it was a 2 bedroom but it was one. No problem, adults slept on pull-out couch. The room had everything we needed for our short trip. I appreciated the thoughtfulness in the little things like that there were more than enough hooks for us to hang our coats and towels. We only stayed 2 nights and the first day my husband broke it collarbone. We took him to ER (45 min drive) which was probably one of the better hospitals we've ever been too. I was a little concerned given how remote it was but we think that played it it's benefit. The pharmacy they recommended next to it was cute and efficient. Snowshoe refunded us his rental and lift tickets soooo we are very excited to be going back soon!

Fantastic Slopeside Condo!

Fantastic location! Right in the heart of everything - shops, restaurants, lifts, rentals, etc. Couldn't ask for much more. Unit is adorable with everything you need for off the slopes and the amenities are wonderful!

6th Birthday Get Away

A short ski weekend at Snowshoe Resort with our 6 year old, who celebrated his birthday on the mountain. He did 2 days of Kids World ski classes, and we did our first runs down the mountain together afterwards. Funky weather, but had a great time, and the condo was perfect, very convenient, clean, exactly as described. Carol, the property owner, was very helpful, great at communicating, and worked to help with any needs. Highly recommend this condo, especially for a smaller family. The bunk beds were great. Thanks for a great visit.

Extremely smart and efficient use of space. 4 year old struggled in ski boots to walk to and from ski school in ski boots but 5 year old did fine. Expedition Station was definitely closer last year but not as nice and no pool/hot tub!

Perfect location

This located at the top of the Ballhooter lift and is central to everything. The unit has everything you need for a great vacation. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The kids enjoyed the heated pool while the adults lounged in the hot tub. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

My family and I had a fantastic time at Snowshoe for our first time skiing. The condo is very homey and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed! It was very clean and larger than what I expected from looking at the photos. We stayed for a week and we cannot wait to go back! It's in perfect location with the village area and ski-in/ski-out is a huge bonus. The lockers downstairs were a nice plus, too. I highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the unit. Everything is brand new and they have thought of everything you may need. My only disappointment was the Snowshoe staff that checked us in. They made it very clear we were not their "guest".

Beautiful Condo

We loved our weekend in the condo. It is beautifully decorated, well kept/clean, lots of amenities, and in the perfect Snowshoe location. Owners were friendly and responsive. We hope to stay again in the future.
