This modern luxury cottage at the Harbor Club of South Haven is contemporary, comfortable, and pet-friendly! Enjoy the quaint and quiet beach town of South Haven, Michigan with your large family or group of your best furry friend! The cottage has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 16 guests (plus 2 dogs). Enjoy granite counter tops, central air, a washer/dryer and modern appliances including flat screen TV, hi-def satellite with premium channels, WI-FI, and a gas grill. Great for several families or 4 couples.

The main level of the home has a fully equipped kitchen, dine-in island, formal dining room, and living room with flat screen television and Queen sofa sleeper. The main level also has a half bathroom. Upstairs, the home has a grand master suite with King bed, walk-in closet, and large bathroom with shower/tub combo and double vanity. Also upstairs are 2 Queen guest bedrooms, a full hall bathroom, and a Twin guest bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 Twin beds). The upper level of the home has a full laundry room. The downstairs boats another huge living area, King bedroom and a full bathroom. A one car garage is attached and easily accessible for guests. Driveway parking space and parking space on the gravel shoulders of the cottage's private street are also available.

Guests of Harbor Club are also welcome to take advantage of a member’s only facility and amenities; including the private marina, clubhouse and seasonal heated outdoor pool. The Harbor Club and Resort (the community in which this home resides) offers two swimming pools. One is an indoor with retractible sides and roof for year round use as well as our outdoor pool found our marina. The cottage is just 0.35 miles from the nearest beach access and 1 mile from downtown South Haven and larger, more public beaches.

Perfect Little Getaway

Location was perfect to all the activities we wanted to do. The house was very comfortable. We had 11 of us stay and everyone had their own bed. The rooms were spacious. The neighborhood was safe.

Great Family Vacation

We rented this property for an extended family vacation. We had a great time! The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the convenience of the community pool. Great area with lots to see and do!!

Comfortable and easy, mostly

The house was clean and well stocked. We were able to easily walk to the pool and to the beach (with a wagon), both lovely. Not sure if this is typical of vacation rentals, but the quality of the furniture was very poor. You could feel the springs through the chairs and one of our group ended up on the couch because one of the beds had a crevice in the middle that made it incredibly uncomfortable. It would have also been great to have more fans upstairs. The AC worked great downstairs, but upstairs was hot and stuffy.

Very cute house in a location with tons of potential

This is basically a brand new home, and was the BEST VRBO we've stayed at during our summers at Lake Michigan. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and it was clean and bug free! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that there was construction going on all around us, and the neighbors are right on top of each other. Eventually, the development will be complete and I think this will be a very high demand area to stay. But hearing the construction tools during the day deterred us from wanting to sit outside. In the future, we will most likely try to find something more private. Great South Haven location, 5 minutes from Meijer, downtown and most beaches...15 minutes to Fennville, Douglas and Saugatuck.
