The property was great, but the customer service was terrible. After booking through Expedia, I was contacted by 2 separate entities (Red Awning and Lakeland Village). Expedia, Red Awning, & Lakeland Village all provided conflicting information (i.e. check-in time). I contacted Lakeland the day before I departed to confirm, and still had to wait over 2hrs. in the car before they provided a door code. While speaking with the front desk, the “owner” happened to be checking in at the same time and over heard my conversation with his staff. He didn’t care that there was a problem, and seemed bothered by my complaint. There are too many good options in Tahoe to put up with the poor customer service at this establishment.
