Everything was fine. Thought room was pricey for what it was. But it was standard Hampton inn stay which I rely on. Clean and comfortable enough. Friendly

Room smelled like cigarette smoke

We booked a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was next to a smoking room with a door between the 2 rooms. Per the staff this was due to the adjacent smoking room odor making its way to the room via the door. This room should've been designated a smoking room. It was fully booked so we could not be moved. Staff sprayed the room the next day with febreeze which helped a little. I had to respray because smell was starting to return. We always try to stay at Hampton Inns because we've had nothing but great experiences until we stayed at this one. This place could use a refresh.

The room was very clean. Indoor pool water was extremely cold. I had planned for my granddaughters to be able to swim that evening. They only lasted five minutes because the water was so cold. The beds were very uncomfortable. I felt like I spent the night tossing and turning trying to find it comfortable spot. The breakfast was very good and there was a full variety of breakfast foods.

Good but in need of an update!

We stay at Hampton quite often. It is my go to choice especially when I know it is a new / updated hotel! Unfortunately, this hotel needs updating. It is older and it shows, especially in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was also not up to the normal standards. The hot choices were limited to biscuits / gravy, sausage and oatmeal. As someone who try’s to stay away from heavy carbs, this was frustrating. In the upside, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful! The cleanliness was good as always!

Glass doors were filthy. Pool was too cold to swim in hot tub was broke bathroom floor was dirty. Printer would not work. I normally love Hampton Inn. This was the worst one we ever stayed in.

For starters when I checked in it was obvious that I interrupted the lady that checked me in; she came from the back handed me my key and went back to the back. Didn’t hear anything about the complementary breakfast, check out time or anything! The room smelt like mildew, so I sprayed some of my cologne in the air conditioner to make it a little better. There is a couple of soft spots in the floor that I was afraid to walk to much on, being I was on the second floor. When I got in bed and laid my head on the pillow I was welcomed by a long hair that was on my face, which was not mine since I’m bald. I was actually going to let all of this slide since I am not a review kind of person, but when I got up the next morning to take a shower, there were two used washcloths on the shower curtain rod, and thought to myself was this room really up to par for $180 for the night? My thought was NO!
