We've designed this sanctuary to be your perfect base for exploring the Old City. After a day of sightseeing, return to unwind and recharge in our serene retreat. The enclosed front, side, and backyard boast tropical lemon and orange fruit trees. Fancy a BBQ? Our private backyard comes complete with a gas grill, and a Bluetooth BOSE speaker is at your service for outdoor ambiance. We've even added a stone patio and fire pit, enhancing your home away from home.

That's what we were when we walked in...awe struck. Someone else wrote "hands down the best VRBO I've ever stayed in" and I agree! Wendy and David are awesome, everything was there as described, BUT! the pictures don't do the place justice. The decorating, cleanliness, the amenities, I could go on and on. This was our first time to St. Augustine and it's amazing, you can walk to anywhere from this house. The shopping, dining and tours, all top shelf! And the people of the city itself were very friendly and welcoming....We're going back no question about it!

Absolutely Amazing
I cannot say enough about this wonderful property. We use VRBO regularly and I must say this is one of the best we have ever stayed at. The place is colorful, comfortable and has every possible thing you could want and things you didn't know you wanted. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Wendy and David were great with communication and checking in to make sure all was well. It is close to all of the attractions and town and beaches, yet peaceful when sitting out back. You cannot go wrong with staying here. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about this property or the owners. We traveled in for our son’s wedding that was taking place the Saturday after Hurricane Milton. The owners reached out to let us know that the house was good and to be sure we were still coming. They even had the yard cleaned and things put back in the yard almost immediately. The property is perfect! They have thought of every detail. We will definitely be back!

Vacation Perfection!!
This adorable house is the epitome of vacation perfection!! From the Mackenzie-Childs furnishings to all the conveniences of home - and then some - we had a lovely week at 6 Loring Street in St. Augustine!! My son and his darling girlfriend joined us for the long weekend. Separating two "master" bedrooms with nearby bathrooms was perfect for two adult couples. If we forgot any travel items, they were graciously provided. The backyard is enticing...and the home is lovely, conveniently located, and beautifully decorated in a modern artistic style. I aspire to be a "rich hippie," having retired a year ago - for me - this was fabulous. All that was missing was my darling, Mick Jagger!! Highly recommended for an enjoyable, artistic change of pace and doting hosts!!

Wonderful Family Stay in St. Augustine
My family had an amazing time at this home! The hosts were incredibly gracious, and it’s clear they take great pride in their home and the service they provide. The eclectic style and vibrant colors made my young kids feel right at home, and the wide variety of games kept everyone entertained. The upscale appliances and amenities were a hit with the adults and much appreciated. Being just a few blocks from Downtown was convenient, though you might still need to drive to reach King Street. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting St. Augustine, and we will definitely be back!

Very clean home has comfortable beds. Good pillows. Wanted for nothing in this spacious, well stocked house. Thoughtful grooming supplies provided in case of need for items inadvertently not packed. As seniors (65+), we appreciated having a one level house with easy access. Home-like feel and cute decor made our stay fun and comfortable. Located near all the historic sites of St Augustine, we could leave our cars parked and walk everywhere. Will definitely refer friends!!

We came into St. Augustine to attend the Celtic Music & Heritage Festival at Francis Field. The house could not have been better located. Wendy and David are the most gracious of hosts! Couldn't ask for a better family to rent from and we're already planning for a stay in 2025!

Perfection!
I just can’t say enough how perfect this home was for our first trip to St. Augustine. Perhaps if you’ve been there before, you may prefer to stay on the waterfront or elsewhere. However, for first timers, I cannot recommend a property more! For starters, the decor sparks pure joy! It’s everything you want in a beachy escape. For our little family (mom, dad, grandmother, 6-yo) it was beyond spacious with every amenity you can think of and a backyard fire pit oasis for post-long days out and about. Access to the pool and beach club was amazing. Yes, it’s a drive, but super easy and well worth it (kids pool was a hit, food was excellent, and beach access was so enjoyed). Overall, though, this home was just so perfectly situated. We could walk in town (as we did many days) for things like the pirate museum, wonderful restaurants, and the fort. And we could walk to the fountain of youth (and a great brunch spot - the RainTree Cafe) for a more low-key Sunday. It was an easy drive to the alligator farm and the pool/beach. Really just a treasure of a spot for any first-timer to st. Augustine. P.S. the hosts were lovely to communicate with!

Super cute house. The owners, David and Wendy, were very thoughtful in stocking the house with amenities: fire pit, games, toiletries and even a welcoming bottle of wine. They were also very quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to this great city.

It could not have been more beautiful!!
We arrived on Friday the 26th. Could not get the A/C to work (our fault) so while we were at the wedding rehearsal meet and greet Wendy took care of everything and the house was nice and cool when we got back!! This place is beautiful and decorated beautifully!! Wendy was so accommodating and we had no other problems. I would highly recommend this place!! You can not go wrong! Comfortable in every way!! This property is simply amazing. The owners go WAY above to give their guests an absolutely great experience. I was shocked this was a rental because it felt like home. The home was immaculate. Owners were very responsive, checked if we needed anything, expectations far exceeded and will book again for another trip. This VRBO is close to downtown for some shopping and food and the walk is quick.

This place was awesome! Decor was very artsy featuring plenty of turtles and with a 9yo who loves turtles was perfect! Located close enough to walk everywhere. We never moved our truck the entire stay. Wendy and David included small amenities such as a stock of assorted coffees, welcoming bottle of wine, even toothpaste and toothpaste in case you had forgotten it. Also, hosts were very quick to respond to my questions. Rated this as a 5, but really should be 10!!
