As soon as you walk in there is a strong smell of chlorine. Didn’t think anything of it, figure the pool was close. Once we stepped of elevator to our room, 222, the strong smell of pet/anomal makes you feel like you are in a pet shelter! The room was the same. I went and asked the front desk if there were any room that were NOT pet friendly, as we were not traveling with any pets. She said they keep the second floor for this. The smell was disgusting. We were only there for one night so we just dealt with it. Won’t stay there again.

Overall our stay was good for the price, the rooms are clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, Justin at the front desk was awesome. The beds are super comfortable. The biggest downside is the smell of wet dog in halls and in the rooms. I realize it is a pet friendly hotel but they may need to use other cleaning products to help with the smell. The keys also kept failing and the continental breakfast was extremely limited.

Comfortable bed and nice breakfast, but the room had a residual pet odor smell. We were told second floor rooms were not used for pets and it was obvious it had been.
