Really nice room. Beautiful pool area. Decent free breakfast. The area is pretty busy so the room wasn't terribly quiet due to street noise and we had a room on the front corner so we got the noise from people coming in and out. The bed was very comfortable though and would still recommend.

Love the outdoor pool, friendly staff! We came in for time out on our side by side at Sand Hollow. Our stay was great and we appreciated that they had storage for our electric bikes as well. The Wingate is our favorite hotel in Hurricane. Highly recommend. Dr. B

Wonderful Hotel in Hurricane Utah

We have stayed at many hotels on our trip; this one s by far the nicest in terms of quality fixtures, hotel staff and the excellent breakfast. This is an impressive hotel from the wonderful staff to the pool and the excellent rooms.

Nice hotel, but the accommodations for those with disabilities are falsely advertised. The room we were assigned was nowhere near the front door, or the elevators. There was room enough for my walker to be in the actual bedroom & out of the way. but the shower & bathroom accommodations for someone with a disability are highly dangerous. The tile floor is so slick, it would cause a slip and fall. The only things they’ve done to make this room “handicap accessible” is added bars to the shower walls and set a shower chair next to the tub. Problem is, the shower chair is too wide for the tub no matter how you arrange it, so you don’t get a good solid base when you’re sitting and showering. The second problem is that the floor of the shower is incredibly slick. Think fresh ice at Rockefeller Center. There needs to be some kind of rough decal or finish on the bottom of the tub so that you don’t slip and fall on your head. I actually had to have help getting out so I didn’t fall. The hose for the showerhead does not reach someone sitting in a safety chair to rinse themselves off, and the water pressure was SO LOW that you had to have the showerhead right next to your skin if you had any desire to get soap off. We tried to speak to the manager, who wasn’t in. We were promised a phone call from him, but have yet to receive one. If you have a need for a handicap accessible property, this is not for you. Don’t put yourself in the danger that I was in.
