I stopped for 1 night on my drive to Mississippi. The girl who checked me in was very nice. I travel with my dogs. They have a nice grassy area for dogs. The room was clean. It was a good overnight stay.

Above & Beyond

The people running it were very kind and dedicated to having a nice property. The pool was super nice and my kids loved it. My son had a medical emergency that invovled an ambulance - they went above and beyond for my other boys while it was all happening and after.

Pleasantly Surprised

Very clean and comfortable. Slept well but you can hear people walking around in room above you. Might want to stay on top floor next time. Be careful arriving during the week because road is under construction. I don’t know what time they start and finish work. We had no problem with a Saturday night.

Nice stay.

It was a great experience from check in to check out. It appears that they are updating their hotel and my only complaint was that the rooms were a bit musty smelling.

The front desk person was not very friendly. Not rude, but not friendly. Theres lots of construction in the area. Its on a gravel road Theres no elevator and we stayed on the 3rd floor. Lucky for us, we dont have a problem with stairs, but sure wasnt convient to lug heavy suitcases up stairs. The breakfast consisted of very dry biscuits, canned sausage gravy, rubbery pancakes, yogurt, boiled eggs, toast & cereal. Our room was clean except the coffee pot (which we paid extra for as part of the superior room package) had grounds in it. The bed was okay. The AC worked well. The shower had decent water pressure and the water was appropriately hot. There was construction going on around the area. It wasnt loud, but it was very dusty and rowded. Parking lot was very tight & cramped. We didnt use the swimming pool, but it looked clean from what i could tell, but it was outside in the front of the building so it felt like it was in the parking lot. It was an OK stay, but we wont stay there again. For about $10 more, theres other choices in the area.

Property was clean, staff was nice and there was a decent breakfast with a couple hot food options. The pool was small but nice and clean. Didn’t see very many stores or restaurants ground, but there was a fair queen about a half a block away.

VERY friendly and helpful staff. Ongoing upgrade to physical plant. Parking is a bit cramped but that is likely temporary as is the general construction in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast was limited but the sausage gravy was tasty and the biscuits were moist and likewise tasty. Mini Cinnamon rolls were excellent. There were dehumidifiers in the halls to assist with humidity that comes with the local climate. As we were leaving the owner made a point of chasing us down in the car park to say thanks and wish us a safe trip. If we return to the Cameron, MO/Hamilton, MO vicinity, we will likely stay with them again.

Better than expected

This was actually a very pleasant surprise. There was a lot of construction going on on the road outside the hotel, but the hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Better than expected.
