Live on top of the world for your next Steamboat vacation at Yampa View Retreat. This top floor, two level, spacious condo is conveniently located less than a mile from Steamboat Ski Area and only 3.5 miles from the town of Steamboat Springs. Experience unforgettable, panoramic views of the Yampa Valley, Emerald Mountain, Howelsen Hill and downtown Steamboat. There will not be many better spots to watch Winter Carnival or July 4th Fireworks.

Lots of windows and light, vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and the spectacular vistas highlight the living area. Kick back on the comfy sofa, warm up by the fireplace and watch a movie, show or game. There is a dining table off the kitchen and access to the balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need if you choose to stay in and make a meal.

The main level also offers two bedrooms and two full bathrooms including the master suite, which offers a queen bed and connected bathroom with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and triple bunk bed (three twins). The 2nd full bathroom is in the hall outside of the twin room and has a tub shower combo.

The large loft has a queen bed and a desk for your working remotely needs. The loft also has a bathroom with a walk in shower and stackable washer and dryer. There is a mini split air conditioning system in the loft, fans also provided in the unit for your added comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Great condo! Only issues were the internet went out every day and had a hard time initially finding the router to reset. Property manager had no idea where it was located. Checked in on Thursday and took until Saturday Afternoon to access hot tub. Multiply codes they provided DID NOT work and property manager was VERY SLOW to get resolved. Hot tub was important reason to select this location and had stayed at this condo complex several years early with NO issues accessing hot tub and sauna. Do not recommend property management company as they only provided excuses after excuses. Would highly recommend this condo again!

Convenient location, beautiful space
This rental was in a great location and the shuttle service came frequently. For a rental of this size and the amount of people it can accommodate, parking became an issue due to only one allowed parking spot. We had to use an overnight parking lot a few blocks away for additional vehicles. Aside from that, the property was clean and the owners were quick to reply to any questions.

Nice, but rough around the edges
We stayed 3 nights in Yampa View, the place was nice, but we had some issues with management and our stay. Firstly, the electronic lock was faulty. We got locked out for 1.5 hours and had to drive to the HOA building down the hill to get the override key. Seriously inconvenient at 11pm while it’s snowing. The shuttle service was spotty. We waited at the ski hill for an hour as everyone was “everyman for themselves” to get on a 12 or 15 person shuttle. Some sort of management of a line or more shuttles would have fixed this issue. The ski locker is small, and has a metal heater at the bottom of it. We did not turn the heater on, but it ran and burned the base of my snowboard to the core, which I will now have to fix. There was zero instructions on the heater. In summary - this listing was very poor with communication and logistics, which made our stay kind of rough. There was very little instructions about the unit (would have been nice to know about the furnace in the ski locker, or better communication for a crappy e-lock). We didn’t even receive the check out instructions, I had to text to receive them. All in all would look at other properties when looking at visiting Steamboat.

Steamboat getaway
We had a great Labor Day weekend stay here overall! There was a bunch of space and the view did not disappoint. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals and beds and couch were very cozy. A couple of things we ran into included fan in one of the bedrooms not working so a couple of us chose to sleep in the loft where the AC was with fans and we were very comfortable there. We also did have quite a few flies in the place during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would book again.

We stayed in the just renovated unit and it was a great stay. Few hiccups with faucets and fans that they need to address, but the location is terrific, beds super comfortable, and kitchen really well equipped! Very clean and modern look. Enjoyed the experience!

Great Condo for Skiing
Our family had a great time in Steamboat. Our condo made it even better. It was clean and open with all of the amenities. The large kitchen table was great for family dinners especially for Christmas. The view was breathtaking as it overlooked the entire Steamboat area blanketed in snow. Skiing was convenient as well with the shuttle pick up in the parking lot of the condo. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes or so and your delivered to the gondola base area in 5 minutes. The management was great as well! We got locked out of our condo and a quick call and they came out right away to help. Overall, it was a great stay. We'll be back.

View & location are perfect!
Decor is dated but the place was clean and well stocked. The gas fireplace was so nice after a day on the slopes. View can’t be beat. Sunsets were gorgeous.
