Good Nights Sleep
The room was nice and clean. We needed extra pillows and immediately were given a few. The refrigerator was clean and cold. Bathroom was clean. It snowed the night we stayed and the sidewalk out front was cleaned at night when we returned from dinner. Unfortunately when we checked out (11 am) the next day they shoveled only 1/2 the sidewalk and we had to walk in the snow the rest of the way to the lot. The parking lot hadn't been cleared or the exits to the street.

The property is convenient as family and friends live nearby. We have stayed here often throughout the years. Although quiet, the present staff did very little to interact with us during check-in. The hotel is outdated, the room was prepared for one person for one evening. Our stay was for two nights. Even our keys were programmed incorrectly and we had to utilize the kiosk for new keys. This option was unavailable so we waited in the entrance to the lobby at midnight until the attendant could be located. Finally, new keys were issued without a word from the attendant. No "I am sorry for the inconvenience," not a word. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I liked the coffee, that it's pet friendly and the small partition in the room. I disliked the stale smell of cigarettes, the unfriendly security and surfaces in the room weren't cleaned (I wiped them down with disinfectant wipes). There weren't sheets or pillows for the sofa bed, it was uncomfortable to sleep on and had belonging from prior guests stuck in it.

It’s right on a wide, busy road. If possible, ask for a room on the quieter side of the building. I was not given that option when I purchased the room. On the plus side, it’s inexpensive and near restaurants. The check-in person was helpful and friendly.
