Great Summer Getaway
The house was just as pictured, with a cute deck to hang out on during our warm summer evenings. It was really warm upstairs, but there are plenty of fans to cool it off. It is really easily located to get to just about everywhere in North Tahoe, because we definitely did! I imagine that fireplace would be wonderful in the winter months.

Cozy and Lovely Tahoe Cabin
We absolutely loved our stay at Cozy Cabin celebrating Dads and Grads. It was our family of four's first trip to Tahoe, and the location was perfect. We had everything we needed to enjoy a meal, coffee on the deck, time in the hot tub, or nearby hikes. We'd love to visit again!

Amazing stay!
The cabin was so cozy, fully stocked and super clean. We visited with another couple and our infant and didn't have any troubles getting in, finding everything we needed for cooking for the baby, and also the fully stocked kitchen was amazing! The rooms were clean, well organized and we had a very comfortable stay. The communication was easy and clear to follow. Hot tub in the back deck was amazing. Definitely coming back.

Had a great visit. Upstairs gets hot in the summer, but fans provided and cools down at night. Very comfortable home.

Solid rental
Overall this cabin was great. The kitchen has just about everything you need to cook and clean, the hot tub is amazing, the gas fireplace is awesome, plenty of hot water for showers, really comfy beds and a cozy overall feel. The only downside was the heating system which overheats the downstairs and barely heats the upstairs. The property management was helpful and advised us to close the vents downstairs and use the space heaters that they had available in the house upstairs. That helped a bit but it's the one downside to the rental and could probably be fixed with an HVAC maintenance visit. But overall, great rental!

Awesome vacation spot
We had a wonderful week in this cabin. The location is great, the kids enjoyed sledding in the adjacent woods. The cabin was super clean and is really well equipped. The open floor plan downstairs and the big windows with an unobstructed view to the woods create the perfect relaxing space. We also enjoyed the perfectly clean jacuzzi. All in all, it was wondery!

It’s a Smelly Bearadise
If you are looking to polish up on your handyman skills, this is a great place to stay. I highly suggest you request to see a mold inspection report dated after October 10, 2020. Tahoe Getaways gave it the old college try to fix the problems with a positively passive aggressive attitude from personal interactions to emails—and it was enough for us to pack up after 6 days of a 13 day stay and pay for a new place. Upon arrival, we found strange odors coming from the bathroom and laundry room. The owners were kind enough to leave a letter on the kitchen cabinets (to the cleaners) explaining that there was a leak—and to keep the water turned off. The drain in the bottom bathroom was broken. The faucet in the upstairs bathroom was broken. Multiple outlets/extensions cords didn’t work. The two fans we tried to plug in were broken. The trash in the bear box was beyond full. There are pictures of the owners and mid-sized bear statues everywhere—the decor is a constant reminder that this isn’t your home, it’s someone else’s. The owners storage is in every nook and cranny of the bedrooms, such as dirty used shoes, extra mattresses, printers, desks, play pens. The bottom bathroom smells reeks of a wafty moldy smell at least 50% of the day. The bear box/trash was so full we could not fit anything in it. The best part of this place is the outside decks, and I genuinely mean that. After explaining to TG the problems we were experiencing they sent out their operations manager. He walked in—and his absolute indifference to the situation was palpable. He left after about 20 mins, and took our trash. The next day I received an email from TG stating: “glad we could send our team by to tighten a few knobs which seemed to have loosen over time, and pull some trash for you even though the trash company was scheduled to have cleared it in 2 days from the outdoor enclosure.” The drain broke again and they came and just removed it. A family of 5 cannot sit inside with their trash for 5 days. From cobwebs in the paneling to dusty musty nooks and crannies, my advice is to book something else, you won’t regret it. Once you book, you can’t cancel—but you can get your taxes back. I have plenty of photos/videos to prove this.

Father’s Day weekend
The cabin was so cozy and in a prime location. We loved the trail right in front of the house and enjoyed many long walks there. The downtown area was so near and accessible and the Hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed it many times. Thank you so much for an amazing Father’s Day weekend after being on quarantine for 3 months!
