Upon arriving the hotel receptionist, Abby, was very accommodating in trying to find us the two rooms we booked. Since we arrived early, she said she’d call call me immediately when available. Seeing I was with seniors, she kindly offered the coffee and tea in the cozy lobby, but I told her we would be back after I took them on a little wine tasting ride. As we were literally pulling out, she called and told me that the rooms were ready. I told her we would be back very soon and check in after we were done. Wonderful young man at the front desk, who’s name I didn’t catch upon return did a great job in accommodating us on the first floor, also seeing that I was traveling with my elderly folks and their relatives. Breakfast had many options, but I came so early that the oatmeal was barely getting warmed up. The options for vanilla or blueberry waffle mix were too good to pass up and cool thing about the waffle makers was that one was big and one was made for four little ones which I thought was convenient if families travel with children. There were three types of juices, muffins, breads, bagels, many condiments. They also had scrambled eggs as well as sausages. I really wish the chain hotels would have some fresh fruit available for guests even if it’s just oranges, apples, and bananas. I understand it’s hard after the pandemic, but I really wish they would give the option to the guests. They had a wonderful laundry facility and gym on the first floor where we were staying on.

Plumbing issues and cleanliness.
Bathroom sink didn’t drain at first, same with tub. Finally drained slowly! When I shower I do not like standing in soapy water waiting for it to slowly drain. Toilet wouldn’t drain on last day. Shower water was lukewarm on first night and next morning but finally got hot water on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Found somebody’s black socks on TV table and trash on carpet under the table. Fridge was sitting on floor in front of mirror instead of inside cabinet, I think it’s too big to fit but at least it worked. We did mention sink slowly draining to front desk but my husband was able to get it draining somewhat. We didn’t know about the shower issues until late at night. We’ve stayed at other Hamptons so expected better. Cleaning person should have reported the plumbing issues and cleaned the room better. The room was very quiet and dining area was clean.

Head to park at the west end of the property in a marked spot. When we went to leave in the morning, the front of the car was covered with water spots that were deep and hard to get out.

Get your hot tub fixed.
All great but and it’s a real bummer but, the Hot tub did not work and my main reason for booking with them was for the Hot tub!!!

I chose this hotel because it had a unique feature of a whirlpool bath in the room. I saw photos on the website and when I booked the room was labelled as "king suite with whirlpool". When we arrived the front desk person, who was very nice, informed us that the room had been renovated and there was no longer a whirlpool in the room. He continued to book us in but never offered a discount, then took us to look at the room. During this time he also informed us that the hotel's jacuzzi did not work. The room was nice/clean but looked like every other room. We decided to not stay at this location due to the lack of promised amenities. The front desk cancelled our stay but because we booked through Expedia he couldn't give me a refund. Currently waiting on that and hoping it's not another issue.
