Ueno is a vibrant interesting area. Lots of good food. Very near Narita Skyliner train station, which makes it an easy place to stay. This hostel is clean and simple. Suits solo traveller for good price in Tokyo. Very safe, but also lockers for valuables and plenty of luggage storage. Bed (capsule-type thing with curtain door) was roomy enough for what it is. I’m 6ft2 and it was fine.

The bath was nice, but just know that theres not a private shower. Also DONT put your shoes on the shoe rack for even a few minutes… mine were stolen and I pretty much just got laughed at when asking for help… its super loud, but its a capsule so it’s expected.
