Very nice staff and location. The breakfast is different in the fact it is boxed up and brought to your room each morning. You choose from a limited menu to the night before and it was brought to your room right on time the next morning. It was ok. Reminded me of how things were during Covid. Overall a nice stay and would come back. Got a much better price online than what I was quoted at the hotel. Crazy how that works.

The room needs to be redone. The walls are curtains were dirty. The one lampshade had stuff on it. The door walls were hard to open and very hard to lock. I have pictures of how bad the bathroom was. The one bathroom door lock was totally gone off the handle. Not sure I will stay there again.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach before. Wonderful option for Traverse City. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast box delivered to the room every morning. Pool area nice as well. Will definitely stay again!

One of the most comfortable beds ever!! I will say it’s odd that I can get far better prices online than at the hotel (in person). Someone in charge should resolve that else I would have stayed another night.

The staff took the initiative to reach out to us daily asking if we needed anything. The Rooms, beach, hallways and lobby were up-kept and clean very nice few days snd we will reserve a return visit.

Loved the Room,the beachfront,the view, the patio, the staff was nice. But the breakfast box was terrible, and they didn’t a box this morning! I had to call the desk! Overall I will stay there again without the breakfast!

Nice Place To Stay
The stay at the Sugar Beach Resort was great. The service was very good and the room had a great view of Lake Michigan. We will make sure that we stay there in the future trips to Traverse City.
