Discovered an inoperable fire/smoke detector in room. Reported it. They did NOTHING. At checkout, they would not give a receipt nor even come to the desk. They would only talk on phone when you could see them in the next room. Breakfast was not remotely what was represented at checkin the day before.

The hotel was dimly lit everywhere, including the rooms. It felt like there was hardly any staff there at all and there was just an eery feel to the place. Breakfast was not good with minimal options and nothing being replenished throughout the breakfast times. There was also no employee cleaning up spills and emptying garbages, so the counters to dish up your food were dirty, and the garbage can was spilling over with plates and cups. I will say the pool area was nice, although there weren't enough towels and the pool is very small. Overall, I did not feel I got my money's worth from what we paid to stay here and I would not stay here again.

Overall the property was ok. Had to get my keys changed 3 times because they wouldn’t work for the door. The hotel had a foul odor as well.

Comfort Inn Vernal is very nice!

Everything was great with our stay. My 2 little dogs were treated so nicely. Room was very comfortable and priced right. So much nicer than the other place I stay for about $15 cheaper! We will definitely be back.

the room was very nice and clean. the furniture had some nicks and scratches but probably comes with the use over time. It was better then the one we stayed at previously. Would stay again there.
