It was ok
This hotel is fine. Nicer, and cleaner than any in actual Barstow proper. We like that they have rooms big enough to accommodate our family of 5 without having to get two rooms. The breakfast is convenient and there are lot of other restaurants nearby. During this stay, we dealt with some annoyances such as our key card having to be reset each night in order to access our room and housekeeping did not come and service the room at all during our four day stay. So it could have been better but was fine.

Stayed 1 night as a pit stop on the way to Vegas from California. It exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and clean. Slept 5 of us comfortably. The morning breakfast was great. We’ll always spend a night on our road-trips to Vegas from now on!

Good experience overall. Reception and breakfast area is updated and modernized. Rooms could do with some updating, but there is really nothing to complain about. Check-in was a bit slow. Breakfast service was a bit lethargic (took 30mins for replenishing the bread box!) The breakfast choices were appropriate for this price range.

Two nite stay, staff was excellent, room was very nice & comfortable. The breakfast was good BUT there were so many guests both mornings that there was a wait in line for everything and the dining area had about half as many tables/seating as they needed making it quite a big problem and no one wants to hold a paper plate in one hand trying to eat with the other while standing. The staff did try to keep the food stocked but it kept running out every few minutes a testament to how overcrowded breakfast was. Or just get rid of including breakfast and make a deal with the adjacent Denny's for discounts but something seriously needs to be done about breakfast. The two mornings were a Friday & Saturday from about 6am to 9:30am and the area was packed for the entire time!
