Some staff members were rude, team was understaffed. Buffet dinner was not very hot, meat was dry, and price expensive for offerings. Beautiful property and outdoor pool was still open.

This is a really lovely resort! I was surprised that I order to receive housekeeping, you have to request it by dropping off a slip of paper to the front desk. This was inconvenient. The on site restaurants were fantastic and the little gift shop was full of all sorts of goodies. The trails on the property were amazing and the pool was a perfect place to relax. The area of WV was in an extreme drought when we were there so the lake was very low-- but that didn't stop water activities! How fun!

I wish I could give the staff 10 stars! They were amazing and really made our trip extra special. We were also lucky enough to be there when there was a murder mystery dinner which was great. I was worried about only having their restaurants in the vicinity, but i was pleasantly surprised. All meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. The pool and outdoor amenities made it peacefully and relaxing. We can't wait to go back next year. I highly recommend this property! Just don't forget your wallet. Things can be a bit pricey, but everything is well worth it. You can do as i did and close your eyes, enjoy it all and charge everything to the room and deal with it when you get home relaxed and with all your memories.

The detour due to road construction was exceptionally poorly communicated - not at all. Having come in at 10:30p, the detour was poorly explained, to the extent we were on a one lane, back road without lights or civilization. It was very dangerous and unsettling.

Good stay for a holiday weekend.

The hotel was very good. I was in town for business for the weekend. It was a holiday weekend and the place was full of families. Which is fine but not ideal for quiet. The room was very good and so was the service from the staff.

I wish T.J Muskies had more workers to bust the tables. We waited 20 mins and had to sit at the bar and eat when there were 3 tables empty and dirty! That was the only negative thing we found. Definitely will be back for a 3rd stay.

Stay was great except for the initial interaction at the gate house entry. The driveway was blocked by two pick up trucks so my husband went in and the ladies were quite rude to him. That was not the best way to start our anniversary weekend!
