I discovered this place about 3 years ago and has become our families go to since .We try to come twice a year .The apartment has all of my family's needs. Their are activities for both my kids ages 8 & 14 and i literally have no complaints!! I will be scheduling my next trip soon !!

Will definitely stay there again

Loved the resort. The only complaints that I have are the poor quality of pillows in both rooms as well as the poor quality pots/pans. Everything stuck to them which made cleanup difficult. Other than that, my 8 year old had a blast with the indoor/outdoor pool and water park. We were lucky enough to have a private washer and dryer in our condo. It made keeping up with laundry, bathing suits and towels.

Great place to take the whole family with plenty of food options and shopping nearby. They also have activities pools, arcade and more on site. However if you are looking for a modern place this isn’t it. It’s an older property but you do have a kitchen and washer and dryer while you are I. Your apartment. They could do a better job cleaning and making sure the tv service is available other than that we were out the room more so it worked out.

The water feature was perfect for two tweens to play in for hours. Gaming room dated and partially functional. Front desk not over friendly or cheerful but functional. Condo was more spacious than expected but the beds were god awful, we elected to leave a night early because we couldn’t sleep well at all. Black mold on bottom of shower curtains. But lots of consistently hot water. 91A the bathroom door hinge was off, ripped carpet by fridge, dented appliances and wonky dishwasher. Will not stay here again because sleeping and non disgusting shower curtains are important. Convenient ~4 min drive to grocery, restaurants, shops.

Nice but smelled and needs updates

This place was nice, but smelled really bad. The carpet should be replaced with vinyl planks if they are going to allow pets. It smelled like wet dog and really old carpet. The location was great and the people nice.

Great for kids and family. Place was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Have an extra half hour to check out. Centrally located to restaurants and a grocery store a few minutes away by car. Great option instead of a traditional hotel room. Would recommend.

Nice hotel, not so nice linens

This is a townhouse style hotel. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. There’s no daily housekeeping, you have to take out your own trash and make your own bed. For me that’s perfect but know that before you book here. I really liked the room, it was clean and spacious. But they lose a star on the linens. The mattress pads and some of the pillow cases looked like rags. Not dirty, just old. The extra blankets they give you are so heavy and itchy I didn’t want to use them and there’s a lack of pillows. The room only had one spare pillow for the pull out bed. I ended up buying 3 pillows at Walmart so we would be more comfortable. The pool was great and my kids loved it, but once again the pool towels are terrible looking I bought some at Walmart instead of using them. So overall I would stay here again but bring my own pillows and towels. The coffee in lobby is also very good for a hotel.

The stay, the staff and the facilities at The Colonies were phenomenal. There's really no other word for them. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay, spacious and the the pool area and game room were incredible. I couldn't recommend this place high enough. Would love to return sometime soon!
