The staff was very friendly. The shower was excellent. The heater was old and noisy and made it difficult to sleep with it on. The breakfast was much better than most hotels. Very congested area though.

I got what I was looking for in a one-night stopover: It was safe, quiet, clean, etc. One thing I noticed was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom was a bit loud. For some years now, most hotels at which I have stayed have had exhaust fans that run much more quietly. In fact, at first I had to inquire to make sure the fans were working. This should be factored into any plans to update the bathrooms.
