I was there in the evening to sleep as I was too far from home after working my construction job. I only was in the reception area to check in and my room. The man at the desk was very nice the room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. A.c worked good and I left well rested n happy

They need to update the advertising on the pictures to match the exact image of what you will get I will never book this room again I had hell!!! Room not right and toilet flooded the whole time!!

It was hard to understand the clerk during check in! I'm not sure why we had to pay a $150 deposit! We showed up at 4 and our room was not ready! First impression was horrible, after we got to the room, it was clean, the air wasn't on but it didn't take long for it to cool down. Bed were comfortable, no TV guide. We asked for coffee the first morning at 3 am, the host had it done in 10 minutes, gave us a package of cinnamon rolls. The next day it was ready. (I'm sure they don't have have early morning requests) I would definitely stay again. We plan on staying again next May.

Front desk was very welcoming and helpful! This is a great stay for those visiting their loved ones at the Great Lakes Naval Base. 20 mins away but had everything around needed. Will be visiting again!

Disappointed

Really upset booked a room for the family got there checked in and our room was given to someone else. They gave us a room that was completely smaller than the one we booked some of the family had to get a whole separate room at a whole different hotel. And the room that was given to us was cheaper that we booked and the receptionist said to contact hotel.com for a refund that they don't handle that.

The bedding(sheet and duvet cover) were stained with what looked like blood. The bathroom wall hook was broke and fell off the wall. Toilet did not flush well (had to hold down handle to make toilet flush completely). Waffle machine did not work/broken at complimentary breakfast. Wish there had been the choice of plain eggs instead of both egg choices including added cheese and peppers. Prompt response by staff regarding complaints.

Not great.

Started off with our 1 bedroom 2 queen suite was not available upon arrival. They stated they tried to call, but I never received any attempts. The gave us a king and sofa bed for my family with 2 teenage son and daughter. When I asked, they said this was the room I reserved. No offer to adjust for the difference in price. No sofa bedding sheets provided and blanket was dirty. Toilet didn’t work well and when asked for clean towels and change garbages after 2 days, had to ask twice because they didn’t do it.

Very poor customer service

Very up set I got a suite for my son a couple of his friends for his 12th birthday to go swimming. The pool was very warm felt like a jacuzzi without the jets, then at check out my deposit was took because one of the kids spilled red juice on the pillow after several tries to contact the manager still til this day a week later haven’t heard from anyone to find out why my deposit was took over a pillow. And the mini refrigerator did not work so everything thing I brought with me I had to throw out the next day. Everytime I asked for a manager unfortunately none was ever there to resolve any of my issues, I will not go but. Very disappointed customer. Maybe they should have stayed the country inn.

Great stay near Illinois Beach State Park

Check in was fast and both the clerk and manager were friendly and helpful. We needed to add a day to our stay and they helped us do that with added incentives as well. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very adequate and the person handling the area was always helpful and courteous, always making sure there was enough food out for everyone. There is a grocery store right across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a newly renovated hotel done within the last year.

The hotel was clean, staff was very nice .i got in around 1030p.m. and front desk even offered to make me fresh coffee.just the little things like that . Made my stay only for a few hours nice .
