The hot tub was luke warm at best. The fire pits didn’t work. When traveling especially from the bitter cold and looking forward to being able to relax and enjoy the evenings at the hotel in the hot tub and socializing with friends around the fire pits was disappointing especially for the price you pay for a room now days. For the price the amenities that the hotel offers ought to be in working order.

I reserved a two room suite and got a large empty room with a bed a tv and a couch. The manager was rude when I brought it up. She said they don’t have a two room suite. The pictures all showed two rooms. So I call this false advertising. I don’t recommend Holiday Express to anyone. The elevator was dirty or out of order the entire three days.

The property overall was great and the staff was exceptional despite the construction that was going on. The breakfast options was on point and fresh. The only reason why I could not give this property an excellent rating was we went two days without shower body wash. Even when housekeeping cleaned the room obviously they did not check the amenities. We went to the local Walmart to purchase body wash.

There was lots of pet hair on our sheets, they ran out of towels, Daniella acted like I was a bother when I had questions regarding my stay. Olivia was very helpful, Room was spacious, decent stay.

Bad experience

Room was open and very dirty when i arrived. Checking with front desk on moving room reservation took forever. About two hours. Only one person working and could not keep up. Finally a new room on a different floor.

The hotel did send multiple emails indicating that it was undergoing renovations and that some areas would be closed. However, during check-in a guess stepped in front of me to complain that his assigned room had not been cleaned ahead of his arrival. Also, my room had too much noise in and around it that made it difficult to sleep. Security on the doors should be improved as well as there is only the single switch door lock. They should also consider improving the condition of the elevator during its renovations.
