Rude housekeeping

I reserved online through Hotels.com and paid before hand but when I checked in at 6:00pm the room was not cleaned yet so I didn’t get the room I reserved (which was a king size). Then 30 minutes before check out housekeeping knocked on the door, I said no thank you and she proceeded to open the door to let herself in even though I told her no. My husband had just gotten out of the shower and was not dressed. Who does that?! I told her we still had 30 minutes and to not hurry now when they couldn’t get the room I wanted cleaned up in time and she said it wasn’t her problem.

It was ok. I mean the staff was friendly and laid back. They made it easy for me to check in without a hassle. Nice people. Pool was closed. The faucet in the tub hardly came out. I couldn't shower because of the weak water pressure. The breakfast was bare. The juice machine was broken. Other than that, you get your money's worth. I'd stay again. I just need to bring my own cleaning supplies.

Ugh!

The floor was not clean, nor was the toilet. Lots of dead bugs & this morning a big, dead cockroach. The lamps on either side of the bed did not work. Fortunately I slept well.

We enjoy the nice quiet place and that we get to have a smoking 🚬 room! Hope that they find some good cleaning personal, that’s all that is needed! It’s too much work for one person! Thank you to those hard workers that try! I (we) like staying in this place and hope that doors not change!!
