this is a gem of a property, very clean, convenient to dining, friendly staff, basic but comfortable room, easy parking. Has a communal kitchen and refrigerator, like a hostel only upscale rooms with private bathrooms. No TV in the room and no formal closet, but otherwise the room has all the essentials. Heater works very well, which is essential in the winter. Nice bathroom. Quiet. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

Very friendly staff and very clean. Our only complaint was no TV and our lights were flickering in the bathroom. They were also having their trees trimmed and the men were there before 8 am trying to start their truck with no luck that was a little loud.

Unfortunately The heat in my upstairs room did not work. They had to give me a space heater to keep it warm as it was cold outside they indicated that the system only sets from the lower rooms and couldn’t be adjusted.

Relaxing and felt homey
Beautiful place, very family friendly, nice laundry area. Only thing I would have preferred is more space for luggage and toiletries. There was really no where to put our suitcases except on the beds and the counter in the bathroom was too small to leave the toiletry bag. I would certainly stay there again.

The room had a kind of minimalist aesthetic but had everything we needed. The shared areas were inviting, had nice seating, and offered coffee and tea and refrigerator space if needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The shower had no grab rails and what made it a significant safety issue is the lights going out during my shower leaving me in total darkness. Apparently the lights are on some kind of timer. I tried desperately waving my arms hoping it was on a motion detector. I suppose in absolute darkness it wouldn't detect motion or perhaps it is just a timer. I consider myself lucky that I did not have a fall in the darkness. I was to rate the place a 5 star until this happened. Also the staff's response was kind of blase'. They said they would put it on the "Maintenance List"

Fantastically comfortable! Having a common area kitchen made for an "at home" experience. Where else can you stroll into a common area in the evening, in your PJs and make a cup of tea? We will defiantly stay here if in Bishop in the future!
