Bathroom needed some TLC but good stay overall

Check in was smooth and room was comfortable. Bathroom was dated and needed some repair. Commode seat was cracked and signs of age in the bathroom in corners of tub. There was a family reunion in the area and many stayed at this hotel so lots of kids and hallway noise at night but I travel with white noise maker so not a big problem. I will stay here again if in the area.

The room was dirty, wrappers had been left out and the coffee packs with the stirring sticks/cream/sugar were already opened with items removed. The bathtub has hair in it and felt gunky. Staff was snippy and rude the few times I did see them. The AC in the room made banging noises every few minutes, making it hard to stay asleep. Overall, really not a great experience.

Usually this hotel is clean quiet and affordable. During my recent stay I questioned the cleanliness of the room. I checked into a room and toilet had visible urine on the seat.

After a very long travel day and upon check in I was told that the room reserved was not available and I would need to pay more for a suite that was available. I questioned the fairness of this policy as it was not our fault. I was then told by desk recep that checkin availability is not guaranteed as a policy. After again questioning this policy she made a phone call and miraculously located a room that I had originally paid for! Left a very bad taste in terms of customer service and honesty.

Wouldn’t stay here again

When we check in we got to our floor it was so hot getting in the room the ac didn’t work they said to go out do what we needed and if we come back and it’s not working to come back downstairs. The pool wasn’t open that was one of main reasons picking here so that was a disappointment. We came back to the room and it was hotter than when we left so they did move us to a different room

Property was clean, housekeeping responsive. Ok complementary breakfast; coffee was good too. Some mixups at check in but all was resolved. Biggest frustration was finding the motel -GPS was incorrect; a more visible sign from the road would have helped a great deal. We would stay there again(especially now that we know how to find it!).
