It really felt like more of a homey feeling than a hotel. You could see joggers right outside, right by the water, everything was walking distance. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. I have been traveling for over 38 years for the US government and Travel Industry and never had I have room service this amazing. The menu and service was impeccable.

Lovely clean hotel, great location but too hot!!!
Our stay was great, an excellent location. However whilst there is individual air conditioning, under and over certain temperatures it’s overridden and controlled by the hotel. We appreciate the temperature outside but the room and bathroom particularly were excessively hot. It was so hot we had to leave the balcony doors open all night even though it was 1 degree outside, probably lower through the night to try and bring the temperature down. This was only safe as we were on the second floor. It was totally unnecessary to heat the room to that extent and is a total waste of energy and not very green. The room was about 25 degrees!! We also would have liked to be able to get room service later. That said staff were lovely, the room was clean and it was a good base close to the train station, just one stop to central then the metro too. There are two flights of steep steps though so difficult from an access point of view from the pavement down to the hotel, we couldn’t see any other way around these. Access inside is excellent.

This was not a 4 star, luxury hotel. I am not sure how it got that rating to begin with. This was just a fine, 3 star hotel. The decor in the hotel looked like a cruise ship, it wasn't nice nor tastefully done. You cannot use the term "minimalistic" either to describe the decor, they just failed in the decor department completely. In the pictures online it looked much nicer and cooler than it did in real life. There were no bellman/anyone to open the door/help you with your luggage. The front desk staff upon check-in didn't really give you much information. Once in the room, there were only 2 pillows provided for 2 people, which I personally have never seen before. Usually there are at least 4 pillows on the bed. In addition, the pillows were so flat I had to ask for 4 more pillows, so 6 pillows total, and it still was not enough. There was 1 extra pillow in the closet, however it was dirty and had someone's hair on it. The duvets underneath the duvet covers were also stained. The bathroom had a heated floor which was a nice touch. However, it was so unbelievably hot in the room with no way to control the temperature. It was terrible. If you cannot sleep in the heat, this is not the hotel for you. We asked the front desk how to turn off the heat and they said to open the window. However there is no window, it is just a door to a Juliette balcony. Sleeping with a door to the outside open doesn't sit right with me, it's dangerous.

great view & light. rooms small. restaurant & bar lacking any ambience, not a space that you felt like you could settle in for a few drinks. dinners not great, breakfast good buffet. staff on desk were average in their connection with clients. location most disappointing as a part of 'new town' Copenhagen. No old & beautiful architecture and atmosphere. Sorry I didnt choose area more carefully.

The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. Close to metro station and plenty of dining choices near by. The breakfast has plenty of options for all types of diets. I will definitely be staying here again.

We love Copenhagen Island and continue to try and stay here whenever we need to spend one or more nights in Copenhagen. The location is great and there friendly and professional services is always great. This time Ann-Sophie did a great of helping me. The hotel was great but Hotels. Com was not I booked the hotel on a Monday early afternoon shortly after I booked the room I chatted with your service and you were not honest or helpful until I continued to contact your help services it took me over two days to change the date and the reservation was changed but not the same as the previous the hotel informed me of the mistake and we fixed your mistake. My concern as a customer of yours for many years is your customer service not being honest or reliable. I hope this will help you be better at your customer service.
