Step away from everyday life and escape to this lovely cabin located in Government Camp! With an open layout, guests will feel at home in this beautiful mountain setting. Spend entertaining and relaxing afternoons at home reading a good book or playing one of the many board games available. The cabin has a convenient full kitchen and you should feel free to bring and cook your own food during your stay. Some of the appliances include a sink, an oven and stove, a microwave, a toaster, a blender, a waffle iron/skillet (reversible), and a mini-fridge. There is also a quaint dining table right by the stove for sharing meals and conversation about the day.

The neighborhood is great for walking. In a few minutes you can stroll down to the heart of Government Camp’s main drag, and without driving you can be cross-country skiing or hiking, depending on the season, on the Glade Trail, Crosstown Trail, or around Trillium Lake. Try one of the many great local restaurants or stock up on groceries at the nearby markets and cook your best dishes at home. A short drive will take you to Ski Bowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, Teacup Nordic Center, or Cooper Spur Resort. Even the town of Hood River is easily accessible, almost 42 miles away.

The property management wouldn't refund the fees even though we had a serious family emergency and couldn't travel. No partial refunds or refund of cleaning fee even though nobody will stay there. Disappointing and not recommended.

Wedding weekend stay
Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend!

Charming
We loved it. Just a little upset we could tell the fire place had been used but we weren't allowed to use it. I bought wood so that was a waste. Overall though we enjoyed ourselves.

Cozy space, convenient location
This is a great spot to stay at while visiting Mt Hood. Residual smoke smell from the wood stove was a little bothersome for us.

Perfect ski cabin
Lovely and cozy, this cabin is now a favorite for its proximity to activities and ski-themed decor. A fully equipped kitchen made vacation easy, and a comfortable bed made vacation restful.

Cute cabin, prime location
Perfect proximity to town, walkable to everything. Loved our stay. Somewhat strong smoke smell due to the fireplace, but went with the cabin theme.

Lovely & Instructions would have been helpful
I loved my five nights at this gorgeous cabin. The wood paneled rooms, the well equip kitchen, comfortable beds, etc were all great. I wanted to make a little fire - there was wood laid out ready to use - but when I went to use the stove/fireplace there were no instructions about how to manage the flues etc. Black smoke started leaking out into the room, so I quickly stopped and did not try again. Other than that, it was really a lovely stay! Thank you :-)

Fun ski cabin!
Lots of retro ski posters as decor, so it's perfect for ski-obsessed people like us. The glade trail is right there so you can ski down from Timberline. Cute, super comfy beds with plenty of warm blankets, clean & quain, great water pressure & nice shower. We'd stay there again! Things to keep in mind: 1) Bring a sleep mask for the king sized bed, though, because there is streetlight that shines in the windows all night--light blocking curtains would be great. 2) Bring cooking oil as needed since there isn't any there. Bring your own spices/salt, too, since what's there is pretty old. 3) Bring extra firewood for wood stove if it's cold out, because they don't supply much at all. (There's a heater, though, so fireplace is a bonus.)

Very clean and cute
This place is adorable and was extremely clean. The downside is that in the winter it is very cold. The one heater is not adequate to provide warmth so bring warm layers to lounge in. If you want to use the stove for heat you will need to bring your own wood. Also the comforter is super hot which was hard for sleeping as I was either cold without it or hot with it. Curtains in main bedroom are sheer and it is very bright. Overall not the best for sleeping but great location, clean, and cute.
