Great stay

Overall stay, okay. Room pretty big but kind of dark maybe due to the dark carpet. Wood floor may be better. Employee Lori was friendly & very helpful at the breakfast area. I commend her for being a helpful worker.

Just so so. We had no towels. Room was large but smelled like pinesol. King bed had 3 thin pillows. Breakfast was pitiful. The price was low.

I've traveled a lot here recently and this has probably been my favorite place thus far. Affordable, comfortable bed, spacious room, friendly staff. Honestly can't say a bad thing about it. I was really tired and they accommodated me when I inquired about a late check out.

Comfortable nights stay

I was pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. It felt very secure because the night clerk Thomas had to buzz us in. Key card was required to enter. The room was clean and the bed comfortably. The carpet appeared older but clean. I liked the ceiling fans in the room. The Continental breakfast was adequate. I made a fresh waffle and the coffee was hot and fresh.

Great place to relax for a night or two.

King Suite Room had a recliner and sofa that was so comfortable. High speed internet was great. I always stay at Candlelight Inn when passing through Mcalister.

Clean and quiet!

The hostess was amazing! She even offered for us to park our motorcycle under the entry…so it would be on camera! The room was clean, sheets were soft and it was very quiet. I know a lot of the reviews say old and outdated, but you can’t beat it for the price. Would stay there again!

Expedia had it ranked 2 stars and rated 9.0 but should be 7.0 at best. Dirty box springs, old toilet seats peeling, toilet barely flushes, shower curtain is probably supposed to be white but was dark yellow(did not want it to touch me), and damp room with that damp smell.
