Angenehmes Hotel

Das Candlewood liegt - hätte man zumeist nicht eine Menge Gepäck dabei - in locker zu Fuß bewältigender Nähe des Flughafens. Man braucht aber nur vom Flughafen aus im Hotel anzurufen und sie schicken binnen kürzester Zeit ein Taxi - die Fahrt dauert 5 Minuten. Die Zimmer sind wirklich hübsch und freundlich ausgestattet, die Betten bequem; allerdings habe ich keine ganze Nacht darin verbringen können, weil mein Flug viele Stunden Verspätung hatte und ich erst morgens statt spät abends in Medford angekommen bin. Ich habe dann im Hotel angefragt ob ich trotzdem noch eine Runde schlafen kommen kann, bevor ich eine lange Autofahrt antrete. Das war überhaupt kein Problem - ich hatte das Zimmer bis 14 Uhr (üblicherweise muss man bis 12 Uhr auschecken). Im Zimmer befindet sich eine Teeküche mit einem riesigen Kühlschrank - so etwas habe ich einem Hotel überhaupt noch nie gesehen. Zur Verfügung steht Filterkaffee. Was ich gesehen habe, gibt es einen Fitnessraum mit diversen Geräten. Einen hübschen Pool gibt es auch - leider konnte ich ihn aus Zeitgründen nicht nutzen. Alles in allem ein wirklich nettes, angenehmes Hotel und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall.
