The location was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, our room was on the ground floor(more like an underground feel). Although it seems like there were some recent upgrades, like the floor, bathroom, and furniture, there were overlooked details. The screen of the sliding door was warped, and with holes, water was coming out from the corner of the shower door, and the lighting was not sufficient. The sliding door opens to a small patio area, but it's not private and has a view of the cemetery. They were fully booked; otherwise, we would have asked to be moved. It's possible that we were in that area of the property because we were traveling with a pet.
I am not sure we would stay there again. We were unlucky to have noisy neighbors on the second floor, constantly running from one side to the other. Each time they flushed the toilet, you could hear the water going down; the wall lacked insulation.
It was "reasonably" priced for the area but had more of a motel feel. There were two options for breakfast: Our room rate included a grab-and-go bag (juice, apple, bar, and a small muffin in cellophane). The second option is to purchase a voucher for $15 per person and go across the street. It can be used during a specific time frame in the morning. We opted to go somewhere else. There are plenty of places around, including Starbucks, which is 5 minutes away driving distance.
