I did not like the fact the AC in my room was not working properly. The front desk lady acted like I was stupid and said my AC was not working due to the balcony door being ajar. It wasn't I locked it an hour before I even called the front desk. Anyway she sent maintenance up to the room after she said wait 5 minutes then call back if the AC does not come on. I waited 10 minutes then called back. The maintenance guy came in reset the breakers and said if it happens again this is how we should resolve the issue. It happened again the next day so for a day and a half I was in a room that did not get down to a comfortable temp for me. So I just cracked the balcony sliding door. I am sure it was just something going on in my unit only but with a day left on my getaway I just made the beat of it.

Nice place to stay

Hotel was clean and convenient to stores restaurants and is beach front People were friendly and helpful Cleaning and replenishment staff are a little under staffed so things are behind schedule We needed to call or go get things needed for our room , not ideal when you’re paying for this service Reception mgr did make it right for our inconvenience

A view that never gets old. Perfect for a short or long stay with your pup. Clean room, outdoor potty area with doggy bags. Not everyone picks up their dog waste so probably need cameras out there. Cute restaurant with pretty decent food and drinks. Good service. Rooms are large enough to entertain your dog in on cold days. Beautiful beach front and easy access. Great looking pool but didn’t use. Nice kitchette, large shower. Make sure you are not overcharged for the $150 pet fee. $300 damage deposit.

Nice and clean

Hotels itself is very nice, and rooms are great and clean. Bed very comfy, bathroom spacious and clean and same the kitchen. But there was few thing not that great : we have been there a week -every day was the same breakfast, breakfast eating area is very nice with many different options to sit, but since hotel is pet friendly - dogs were just doing their business just in front of the window -not the greatest view. Hotel has nice pools (just the water was too cold to get in ) and a splash zone -that was my fave part. Parking was very convenient too. Hotel can do a complimentary grocery shopping - that was a great option too, and sometimes they have free tickets for shows in area. And it’s little too far from downtown . Overall it’s a great place to stay.

The staff is friendly, premises clean, nice amenities. Cannot beat the room, view, and rate we got. The breakfast was nice and people were friendly. Very happy with our stay at the Residence Inn Myrtle Beach, SC.

A great location, but difficult in that you can only enter through garage level. Safe because you must use key card to go in elevator floors etc. Bar/lounge was nice, very friendly bartender. Front desk staff mostly courteous, but one was speaking fast and hurrying us along so much. Not crazy about having to go get our own towels every day and not getting any cleaning done, just empty our trash cans every 2 days ( or have to do it yourself, no thank you its vacation)made our own beds. However, nice ocean view beach and walk to beach is fast. Lots of dogs, no problem, we like dogs so no big deal. Breakfast was just fine, wish there were more choices, but you need to get there before 8:30 or its getting thin on the food and it gets cold. We would come again probably. Parking can be tricky but mostly we were able to park where we wanted. Too bad you have to drive to most eating places, but I guess tradeoff is having beach near. Price was equivalent to most beach places, and its a residence inn so we had microwave/fridge etc. If I had a family of kids, this could be economical. Overall we did like it and might come to this same location again.

I really wanted to give this hotel a 5 star rating but the animal smell and dander became a distraction. The room was really clean and the breakfast was great. Luckily they changed the carpet in the room for us. I would recommend giving designated floors to pet owners. Everyone doesn't want to smell or hear dogs on their vacation.

Loved the location. Did not like the maid service or lack thereof due to our stay of only 5 days they only provide fresh towels every other day no cleaning no sheet change etc. Room decor very warn finish was off of kitchen cabinet and drawer pulls, stainless rough, mirror smeary, inside drawers for clothing needed wiped out, kitchen table stained, paint chipping off walls in bathroom

Very Inviting...

Birthday trip and to visit family. Great hotel, Friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty tasty too! Everything was clean and looked brand new. Only thing I would change is to have wider turning in the parking deck or change entrance/exit to different parts of the deck. Parking for full size pickup trucks is challenging.

Well, extremely nice room clean and modern had a little kitchen fridge stove microwave ,toaster,coffee maker. there is great view from the balcony of the beach.There is a pool and our side shower . Really well set up

Wonderful beach getaway

Excellent stay!!! The beach was beautiful, the room was great, we had the king balcony with kitchen, had everything we needed. Keep in mind this is not a full service hotel so you will choose between no service and service every other day which is a light room refresh (no linen changes, however you can request fresh linens and change your bedding as you chose), you can also request fresh towels as needed. Breakfast was good as well as convenient. Location was perfect, close to everything, shopping, grocery stores, boardwalk, cute downtown district. Will definitely be returning!!
