Great Stay
We had a great stay on the farm - it was quiet and peaceful for a weekend away. Our kids loved the chickens and listening to records. We even were able to see the northern lights. Friendly hosts and very welcoming!

Quiet country stay!
A trip back in time but with modern conveniences! We really didn't spend much time at the house but appreciated the comfy beds, full kitchen and the fact it was set back from the road enough to be very quiet when we were there. The fresh scones were a wonderful treat too! Host is great to work with!!

Going back in time
Beautiful country farmsite where you can get away from the hustle and bustle. The surises were awesome with the young eagle sitting by the nest in the back yard. If you grew up on a farm, the farmhouse was very nostalgic with furnishimgs dating back many years.

Loved the property. Quiet and peaceful. My sisters and I had a lot of fun watching the chickens and ducks. Also the eagle and the bunnies. Julie was a great hostess, we had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with her. When we arrived, there were fresh blueberry scones, and they were delicious. Everything we needed was available. We really enjoyed listening to the collection of vinyl. There were a lot of what we listened to as teenagers. There are a lot of nostalgic items in the home, which brought back great memories for us of when we were growing up. It was a wonderful sisters trip.

Labor Day Trip
The house and property was exactly what you would want in a farmhouse! Location is very quiet and we had the whole farm to ourselves, except for the the chickens which were added plus. Owners came by to check on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want to disconnect and relax this is a perfect spot. Hopefully, we will get to use the houise again next year!

Great homey stay!
I had a wonderful experience with my family on this property with acres of land and beautiful greenery. The farmhouse was spacious and the owner was nice enough to have our 4 dogs stay! The barn is awesome and there’s even a chicken coop with fresh eggs. We even had delicious scones home-cooked upon arrival waiting for us. It was so peaceful and just serene, would love to visit again! Great peaceful getaway with the family and pets

Weekend getaway
We all absolutely loved the property!! Julie was very sweet and accommodating. The house was cozy yet large, with plenty of room for all 6 of us to spend the night. We felt safe and comfortable, and enjoyed the large space outside to eat dinner by the firepit. Wildlife spotted- sandhill cranes, eagles, geese, woodducks, deer. Wildlife heard- frogs, crickets The chickens were not close enough to the house or loud enough to wake us up in the morning. Julie let us look for eggs in the coop for breakfast! Only found one (didn't look very long) but it was delicious!!

Beautiful family Farm and fields of Hay. Sunrise was beautiful, sunset sounds of geese in flight!
This is an old family farm that is loved by its owners. The amenities, décor and feel of it is appropriate for the experience. That is the joy of it. If you book this wonderful home then complain that it doesn't have modern amenities your the idiot. The fact that they are allowing outsiders into their family farm is amazing and should be applauded.

Delightful historic farm house.
A magical stay for a family of five including three grown kids. Private, quiet and spacious grounds. The owner was wonderfully accommodating. Plenty of room inside with charm to spare. Comfy beds! Invited extended family over for a day. Had a great time exploring nearby towns. Cranes, eagles and roosters added excitement to the visit. Good stargazing. We even had the pleasure of witnessing the oat harvest. A few cautions for the city mouse: if sensitive to well water flavors, bring bottled drinking water; check your cell phone coverage and note there is no WiFi; taxidermied animals might be a feature of the decor.

The property is very nice, a little ways out of town but not too far, very quiet and the nature is great. While we were there the power went out and the property owner was very nice and thoughtful. It was also like going into a time capsule! Overall a fun experience.
