Living Areas
This villas features a professionally decorated, spacious family room with multi-channel TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi high speed internet that overlook the pool and patio area. The upgraded kitchen has all the appliances and comforts of home including granite worktops, the dining room has plenty of room to enjoy meals together and there is plenty of seating poolside for dining along with loungers for catching some sun.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The bedrooms of this property continue the high end fixtures and furnishings. The first master bedroom features a large king bed with walk in wardrobe and large en-suite including corner tub and large walk-in shower. Master bedrooms two feature one king and have walk in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. The final three bedrooms feature has two queen and full beds, one with fun Star war decor and the other with Pirates decor furnishings so the children will undoubtedly have a memorable experience. All bedrooms have high end linens and towels to keep you comfortable during your stay.

The house was exactly as advertised. The beds were very comfortable and it was great for everyone to have their own bathroom. We loved the location for visiting Disney parks and having a Publix right there to hit on the way home was so convenient. Check in was seamless. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay
Had a fun 7 day stay. Location was great for Disney and only an hour plus to fun ocean beach. Easy walk to pool and lazy river. House was great with room for all. I would have liked more information on things we would need to buy such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap etc. Next time would not pay extra for pool heat. Would recommend this for anyone who wants a great home for a family vacation.

Excellent location for the Disney and Universal Parks. Nice pool and hot tub or you can walk a short distance to the neighborhood clubhouse pool, lazy river, putt-putt! Every bedroom has its own bathroom, very convenient for getting ready for events.

The house was nice and communication with the owner started out good but the power went out for 5 hours at some point where the AC started blowing hot air after it came back on. It was 84 degrees in the house for the remainder of the trip and we couldn’t get in touch with the owner.

Communication can be an issue
This was a really lovely property in a quiet area right off the highway. It was overall a great place, but I did have an initial issue reaching someone regarding an issue at check in (which had already been discussed 2 days prior). If you plan to check in after 5, I would not expect to be able to reach anyone even on the emergency line. Also bring extra soap/toilet paper/tissues as there is no extra supplied for longer stays (we planned ahead for this based on reviews). Others mention it being a loud neighborhood but it was quiet for us since no homes were behind us. Overall recommend.

Good until the last night.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the house was more or less as advertised. Had intermittent issues with the WiFi. The house is solidly built and it is furnished well. Our only issue was with the AC on our last night. We returned from a day away from the house and the AC was off and couldn't be turned back on. I called and left a voicemail with the management company. Lesson from Book Disney Homes called me back. He informed me the HVAC must have 'flooded' and shared with me instructions on how to correct the issue. I followed the directions, turned the AC back on and went back outside for about an hour. When I got back in the house the AC was on but was blowing hot air and the temperature of the house had risen from 74F to 84F. I turned off the AC but it continued to pump out hot air. I called and left another message but didn't get a call back for over an hour. It was now 85F and 9:00pm. As it was our last night and we were leaving early the next day we decided to pack up and leave. Book Disney Homes only has people on call after normal business hours which makes communication after hours rather fraught. Lennon messaged me to let me know someone would be out in the morning to fix the AC. I'm not sure if that actually happened as I have not heard from Book Disney Homes after I let them know we were leaving the house early.

Could have been better with basic needs/amenities offered
My family and I traveled to Orlando for a sporting event for our daughter. We made a vacation out of it and spent 5 days at the parks as well. Check-in was a rather easy process, receiving instructions from the property manager prior to our arrival. Lennon was responsive at that time but as the week progressed, responses became delayed and I am still waiting for a check-out response (we left 4 days ago). The house is advertised as having a pool and hot tub. A couple days before our stay we were informed we would need to pay extra for using the heat. We paid the extra $30/day in order to use the hot tub but it was only adequately heated 1 day during our 7 day stay. We were told the heater would work 24 hours/day and was set at 86 degrees. The water, with jets running (for hours on end) which supposedly increased the spa temp, maintained a temperature cooler than a luke warm bath. I have asked for a refund and have yet to hear back from the property manager. Upon our arrival, we attempted to log onto the internet and the network name provided was inaccurate. We figured out which network to log onto ourselves (property manager was not certain) and service was extremely slow with upload speeds less than 2 mbps. This was eventually reset on day 3 which greatly improved service (adequate wifi was important as cell phone service lacked in the area and I work remotely). The home is equipped with a security alarm. During our stay on 2 separate occasions, the alarm box started chirping at 3:45 AM and 4 AM. Lennon had maintenance come by to address the issue after the first occurrence but failed to determine what the cause was - just that they input the security code and it turned off. He was kind enough to provide us with the code so when it happened again the next morning, we were able to turn it off. However, I suggest determining what the issue is vs finding a band-aid to fix it so future guests are not woken in the middle of the night. Our final issue was not having a clean water filter in the fridge water dispenser. General maintenance upkeep should be a minimum for a rental property, especially when associating with a resort. Lastly, I sent a message to the property manager asking for check-out and cleaning instructions and never received any guidance - nor have I heard anything regarding our concerns with the property and refund request for the pool/spa heat. The home itself was beautiful but that's as far as it goes for expectations.

We had a great stay at Storey Lake Resort. This house was nicely decorated and well maintained. The location was exceptional! Easy drive to the amusement parks, grocery store and many local restaurants. We enjoyed time playing pool and swimming in the heated pool at the house. Both the house and the resort were beautiful..
