It was ok a lil expensive but its not the worst hotel iv ever been at. Yall need more staff tho those poor cleaning ladys were doing 14 hr shifts and still stayed nice and ready to clean the next room. The front desk lady was a rockstar needed more training on the bar but still did a great job with how busy they were.

Our 2 queen bedroom accessible room was layed out well giving privacy for those wanting to go to bed before others. Two tv's. Nice kitchen and great breakfast. Room could have been cleaner. Staff responded quickly to our requests to coffee pot not working, missing tv remote, no tp.

I was told when we arrived that the room was ready. Upon entering the room, it was not and it was dirty. The bed was unmade, the toilet had “poop” in it. The mirror was so dirty, there were dead bugs on the window sill and the alarm above the bed was hanging down. I went down to reception to report that the room was indeed NOT ready. They said they were short staffed and we could go ahead into town and guaranteed us that the room would be ready by the time we returned. We returned at 7 pm and everything was the same. I was disgusted. Reception had attitude and told us we could leave if we wanted but we would. Ot get a refund. They said Expedia was responsible for the refund yet I was told that I opted to pay at the desk. We then had to go looking for somewhere to stay. I am in my 70’s and was terribly stressed about all this. I am requesting my refund and would hope that Expedia would help me clarify this problem that definitly ruined our trip in Pella.

Very clean with friendly staff. Love that the hotel was off the beaten path but still close to town and the lake. The kids loved the pool. The hand painted walls in the swim room were a unique touch. We will stay here again!

Never going back

First room they put me in had a smoke detector hanging by the wires that was inoperable. They moved me to another room that was in a section of the motel that had not been cleaned for over 2 months. The counters were filthy with food Grease and the floor was also greasy filthy. The staff Did not offer any adjustments on the price and had nothing but poor excuses.

Expedia quoted me a price that was hundreds of dollars less than what the hotel charged me. I confronted the hotel and they said that because I booked 3rd party they could not help me. I reached out to Expedia and they said that they were unable reach the hotel so they could not help me. This is a scam! Don't t use Expedia to book your hotels.

Dirty floors

The hotel was great. Right on the golf course. Not around any businesses it was in a residential area. The bar could only seat 4 people and was in the hallway behind the front desk. There was a nice patio on the course you could sit on and enjoy your drinks outside the pool. The floors in the entire hotel were filthy otherwise the hotel was neat and clean.

Bar/ restaurant was out of stock on almost everything. Ordered 2 burgers and a pork lion sandwich . After 20 minutes they informed us there was no pork lion and no buns, but we could have our burgers on a hot dog bun. They do no seemed to be prepared for more than 8 guests. The staff was great! Management needs a lot of improvement.
