Great location in the middle of everything! While there is plenty of options to choose from in the Pigeon Forge area, one never quite knows the accommodations they are booking. We have booked some not so exciting hotels in the area and were happy to see that we did well with this property. The outside pool looked fun however we were there off season. The hotel was clean, mattresses were not awful but I'm a mattress snob and I'd rate them a 6 out of 10 for comfort. It was decorated for Christmas and I did enjoy reading by the fire in the lobby. The hotel had a nice deck with rocking chairs overlooking the river with a pretty view other than the trash that could be easily removed for a more appealing experience. The entire hotel was warm and welcoming with what my children noted an "assisted living" feel to it. Essentially it felt as if we were visiting their great grandparents in their old folks home. Some updated furniture and art would absolutely put a more modern and desired spin on the place. The price was good (we paid around $130 per night) days before Christmas. I would go back and upon doing so all that could be improved on would be the mattresses, the trash along the river and the decor! All in all, good job Music Road!

You be coming to this hotel for 20 years never disappointed until this trip. It started at the desk for checkin. Unhappy employees(no smiles) which was a first, when I asked if we could upgrade both rooms to Riverview, I was told not very nicely) NO because we booked through a third party and if I would have booked directly through them they could have tried. The lack of friendliness and hospitality combined with the broken closet doors, garbage on the bathroom floor, and dirty (mold covered chairs) on the balcony, caused us great concern that what was once our favorite place to stay has gone down so badly. The family even said maybe we should try one of the other hotels nearby next time. So disappointed.

Music Road is one of our favorite places to stay! Pool/hot tub are open 24hrs. Pool is heated and hot tub is nice and hot. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because of the amount of chlorine in the hot tub! It will burn your eyes and there’s so much it discolored our clothes :/ Other than that, everything else was fantastic. Great friendly staff, breakfast is hot and taste great, room was clean and comfy beds!

My niece is the one who actually stayed here under my name, but she loved her stay there. The room was very clean and she really loved the gorgeous view from the balcony. She said her only regret was not being able to stay longer

Did not like that the door that leads to the room beside us did not have a lock on it! It don’t have a handle so the room beside us “can’t open the door” but that’s usually real easy to get around! I definitely think they still should have had a lock or something at the top of the door where you have the option to lock it, just so you have that peace of mind & extra reassurance. Also my kids & their friends got in the pool and idk if if was to much chlorine or what but all of them their cheeks and face got red etc and they was not in it long at all, maybe 30 min. We love this hotel and always have a great time! It’s clean & staff is usually always nice & never an issue with the pool before. Definitely don’t like the not locking thing but other than that it was great!

This is our second time staying at the property. It doesn't have a wow factor, however, when you just need a place to sleep while you go explore it gets the job done. We liked that breakfast was included with having small children that starts the day off right. However, we stayed here in 2021 and it was the same exact breakfast, could use a little freshening up. Rooms are mostly clean, could use a good deep clean with dusting the vents/ceilings. We did enjoy the indoor pool / hot tub seeing as it was December, and both were open 24 hours which we thought was nice.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel three times now, and each time it had been consistently great. The indoor pool is actually heated, the rooms are always in great shape, and the outdoor pool when it's in season is always a hit with the kids. We will be staying at this location many more times to come.

Excellent Stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay at Music Road Resort Inn. We were there from Dec 25 - 28. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean and in working order. I even enjoyed some quiet time by the fireplace in the lobby. The location was great and close to all of the wonderful places to visit in Pigeon Forge. The breakfast was great. My girls thorougly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and when we weren't sightseeing, that's where they were! We will definitely be back and definitely will recommend others stay here when they visit Pigeon Forge.

This is generally a nice property, but some elements of the room need to be updated. In a digital age, having rooms with beds not adjacent to plugs is major problem. Update the lamps or something to put outlets near the beds.
