Let me be crystal clear, the staff and housekeepers are exceptional. The maintenance on this property, or lack of, is striking. There’s mold in the caulking, carpet that turns your feet black, rusted out features, water stains in the ceilings. The linens and surfaces are as clean as they possibly can be. The food is good for hotel food and the breakfast room is kept nicely. The staff was friendly, helpful, and greeted us anytime we came in. ***It is not a lack of employees doing their jobs or trying their hardest.*** It’s simply corporate putting zero effort into maintaining the property. We won’t be staying here, or any Country Inn, again but that’s to absolutely no fault of the staff.

Other than certain staff who were friendly and helpful (thank you, Portia!), this hotel wasn't worth the price. It's run-down but had the essentials (indoor pool and breakfast). If you are a light sleeper, not a good choice. We heard traffic, helicopters and trains starting at 5am. Needs better insulation.

I liked the service and our room was tidy and stocked well, the breakfast was very good, they changed it up and didnt keep the breakfast made the same way but it was the same items just cooked differently, but it was good. What i didnt like was, the pool was dirty, but ot was a good temperature, and the beds were uncomfortable, it felt like cheap mattresses, usually we get pillowtops at other places thats why i was surprise, otherwise it was a good stay.

pro: Comfortable room & quiet . con:T V would not shut off using remote so we Unplugged from wall at night (Hard to reach) T V every night. & small coffee pot unplugged & then cord would not reach plug..moved it to another table across room. Ok then. Reported both issues when we left....

It was overall fine but the shower pattern made it hard to tell if it was clean or not. When I took a shower I found bits of short black hair on the shower walls I’ve got long blonde hair

Our room wasn’t ready at 8:30pm!!! They had a serious issue with something that day because people were either waiting for way too long for their rooms to be cleaned or they just canceled them (as I did). I won’t go back. Must be horrible management there.

Clean with a nice breakfast

We stayed three nights ( Fr. Sat. Sun,) to attend Celebration of life Services in nearby Lakeside, Ohio. Location was very good for amenities and restaurants nearby. Room was very clean on arrival, breakfast was nicely prepared each morning with some variety during our stay. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping is provided on the third day of a visit which was a bit of surprise. ( It has been a long time since I have stayed multiple days in one motel at a time so perhaps this is the norm)? But you can call if you need something and I understand the importance to be eco-friendly ( towels and sheets) but simple housekeeping things like emptying the very tiny wastebaskets need to be done daily in my opinion without the need for a guest to call. (Especially since rooms have microwaves and small refrigerators). I did appreciate the wonderful water pressure of the shower!

Way overpriced for quality

This place is older but price for what it is was ridiculously high. Beds were fine but carpets were old & stained and bathroom shower smelled like mold. Breakfast was marginal and staff was not very friendly. Would not stay here again.

Do not stay here.

Checked in 6 hours after check out. Didn’t know which rooms were clean or not. Waited over 30 minutes to check in. At least six other people waiting at the same time to check in. Went to the room. The beds were stained and had hair on them. Felt bad for the front desk person. She had been there only two weeks. She tried to call her managers and no one answered her calls. As soon as we drive in I was leary. The property was not well maintained outside. It was an indication of the inside.

We never got to check in we arrived the first time around 8pm and there was a long line so we decided to get something to eat. We arrived back around 930pm and we were told that our room was not ready and if we could come back in 30 minutes. By then we decided to cancel. It was 930 at night and the room was not ready. It was unbelievable.

Bad night!

We reserved 2 rooms . We had to sleep 3 adults and 3 kids in one room. Hitel blamed it on Hotels .com. I provided proof but didn’t help. Hotel was sokd out. Very rough night for an 83 yr old!
